How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a repair job on this component, we test the port with multiple known-good devices/cables first to rule out a driver or OS-level cause, then inspect the port's solder points on the board — USB and HDMI ports typically fail from physical stress on the connector shell, which cracks the solder beneath it.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes

This prevents unnecessary parts purchases — you don't replace a ₹8,000 GPU if the PSU is the real fault.
