Important Notice
By using Xigox's website, booking a repair, buying/selling a device, or engaging any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Customer," or "Client") and Xigox ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a technology services company registered in Maharashtra, India.
These Terms govern your access to and use of:
- Our website at www.xigox.in and any associated subdomains
- Device repair services (smartphone, laptop, tablet, smartwatch)
- Buy/sell and refurbished device marketplace
- Web design and development services
- Mobile application development services
- Any other services offered by Xigox
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2 Repair Services
Diagnostic Assessment
- • Free diagnostic evaluation is provided before any repair work begins
- • You will receive a written repair quote before we proceed
- • Repair quotes are valid for 7 days from date of issue
- • You may decline the repair after diagnosis with no charge
- • If you decline after a paid diagnostic fee (for complex assessments), the fee is non-refundable
Turnaround Time
- • Standard repairs: 1–3 business days (same day for common issues)
- • Complex repairs requiring spare parts: 3–7 business days
- • Express service available at additional cost (subject to availability)
- • We will notify you of any delays via SMS/WhatsApp
Data Responsibility
- • You are solely responsible for backing up your device data before submitting for repair
- • Xigox is NOT responsible for data loss during repair
- • Some repairs (motherboard, water damage) may require factory reset
- • We will inform you before any action that may result in data loss
Parts & Components
- • We use high-quality OEM-equivalent or genuine parts
- • Part availability may affect repair timelines
- • You may request OEM parts at additional cost with prior notice
- • Replaced parts become property of Xigox unless otherwise agreed
3 Warranty Policy
90-Day Repair Warranty
All repair services include a 90-day warranty on parts and labour from the date of repair completion.
Warranty Covers
- • Same fault recurring after repair
- • Defective parts installed by us
- • Workmanship errors
- • Re-repair at no additional cost
Warranty Does NOT Cover
- • New/unrelated damage after repair
- • Physical/liquid damage post-repair
- • Tampering by third parties
- • Software issues unrelated to repair
- • Accidental damage by user
To claim warranty, contact us with your original repair invoice within the warranty period. Warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original customer only.
4 Buy & Sell Terms
Buying Refurbished/Second-Hand Devices
- All refurbished devices are quality-tested and graded (A/B/C) based on cosmetic and functional condition
- Device condition, grade, and warranty period are clearly stated on each product listing
- 7-day return window if the device has undisclosed defects (must be in original sold condition)
- No returns accepted for change of mind after 7 days
- Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes; EMI options subject to eligibility
Selling Your Device to Xigox
- Online price quotes are estimates — final price is determined after physical inspection
- You must be the legal owner of the device; selling stolen/lost devices is illegal and punishable
- Remove all personal data and disable iCloud/Google locks before handing over
- Government ID proof may be required for high-value transactions
- Payment via bank transfer/UPI within 1 business day of accepted inspection
- Once sold, the transaction is final — devices cannot be returned/reclaimed
5 Payment & Refund Policy
Accepted Payment Methods
- • Cash (in-store only)
- • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
- • Net Banking
- • Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay)
- • EMI (on orders above ₹3,000)
Refund Policy
- • Repairs: Full refund if we cannot fix the issue
- • Advance payments refunded within 5–7 business days
- • Refurbished devices: 7-day replacement for undisclosed defects
- • No cash refunds — bank transfer/UPI only
- • Digital services: As per project agreement
GST Invoice provided for all transactions above ₹500. Full payment required before device is returned to you after repair.
6 Digital Services (Web Design & App Development)
The following terms apply specifically to our web design, web development, and mobile app development services:
- Project scope, timeline, and pricing are defined in a separate Project Agreement signed before commencement
- 50% advance payment required to begin work; balance due upon project delivery
- Up to 3 rounds of revisions included in standard packages; additional revisions billed at ₹500/hour
- Client is responsible for providing all required content (text, images, logos) in a timely manner; delays may extend project timeline
- Domain, hosting, and third-party service costs are client's responsibility unless included in the package
- Post-launch maintenance and support as per agreed Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)
- Xigox retains portfolio rights to showcase delivered work unless a confidentiality agreement is signed
7 Intellectual Property
All content on the Xigox website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Xigox or its content suppliers and is protected under Indian copyright law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any content without our express written permission.
For digital service projects: Upon full payment, intellectual property rights for custom-built deliverables transfer to the client. Source code, frameworks, and third-party libraries remain subject to their respective licenses.
8 User Conduct
You agree not to use our services to:
- Submit stolen, lost, or unlawfully obtained devices for repair or sale
- Provide false information (name, contact details, device ownership)
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargeback abuse
- Attempt to access, reverse-engineer, or tamper with our website
- Harass or threaten our staff members
- Post false, defamatory, or misleading reviews
Violation of these terms may result in refusal of service, termination of agreements, and/or legal action.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Xigox's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Xigox shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data or profits not caused by our direct negligence
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Damages due to pre-existing device defects not disclosed at time of submission
- Delays due to part unavailability or external supply chain disruptions
- Service interruptions on third-party platforms or payment gateways
10 Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Contact us first at [email protected]. We will try to resolve the issue within 7 business days.
Consumer Forum
Unresolved disputes may be raised with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or District Consumer Forum per Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Arbitration
For commercial disputes, both parties agree to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Mumbai.
11 Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the laws of the State of Maharashtra. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
