Nothing happens when you press power
Check the wall socket and the switch on the power supply first. A dead SMPS is the most common cause, followed by a loose front-panel connector.
Fans spin, no display
Usually memory that needs reseating, a failed RAM stick or a graphics card that is not seated. Beep patterns from the board tell us which.
Restarts by itself or freezes under load
