How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When this needs a genuine repair rather than a reset, we first confirm the camera is actually disabled or faulty at the hardware level (checking Device Manager/System Report for whether the OS even detects it) before opening the bezel, since a large share of "broken webcam" cases are a software permission or driver issue, not hardware at all.
Typical time: 20–30 minutes
The model
The Acer Veriton M4690G is Acer's business desktop line — tower and small-form-factor options for corporate deployment at a competitive price point.
Don't waste time on booking portals. Reach the engineers directly with Xigox. Bulging or leaking capacitors in Umroli are an extremely common fault on boards older than 5 years — especially after Mumbai's humid monsoon cycles. Xigox's board-level engineers perform targeted cap replacement rather than recommending a full board swap: a ₹500–₹1,500 repair instead of a ₹10,000–₹25,000 board replacement. That's the standard Xigox holds for Acer Veriton M4690G Computer Workstation Webcam Repair in Umroli — free doorstep pickup, a transparent quote in writing, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty once the Acer Veriton M4690G Computer Workstation Webcam Repair is complete.
