FAQ
FAQs — Acer Aspire Laptop Keyboard Backlight Fix in Navy Nagar
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
Yes — ₹350 for the inspection in Navy Nagar. Our technician diagnoses your laptop and gives you a clear written estimate; if you go ahead with the repair, that ₹350 is adjusted against the total cost, so the inspection itself doesn't add to the bill. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹350 still applies for the technician's time. Free pickup also available in Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Colaba Causeway and surrounding areas.
We accept all major payment methods for Acer Aspire Laptop Keyboard Backlight Fix in Navy Nagar: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, net banking, and cash. Payment is collected after the repair is completed to your satisfaction — we never charge upfront without consent. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai City — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Navy Nagar. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. We repair at component level where it is safe to do so, which is usually a fraction of that cost, and back it with our own 90-day warranty. Our service covers the full 400005 postal area in Navy Nagar.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai City — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Navy Nagar. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. We also serve Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Colaba Causeway, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. Customers across Navy Nagar (400005) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Acer Aspire Laptop Keyboard Backlight Fix work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. We also serve Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Colaba Causeway, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Navy Nagar, even when the answer means we do not get the job. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
Yes — Xigox operates 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week in Navy Nagar, including Sundays and public holidays. Weekend pickups are often the most convenient option for people who cannot be at home on a working day. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai City — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
Yes, on request. Any component we remove during Acer Aspire Laptop Keyboard Backlight Fix is yours, and we will hand it back with the repaired laptop so you can see exactly what was changed. Just mention it when you approve the quote. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.

How it's done
How We Perform Laptop Keyboard Backlight Fix
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For this specific fault, our technicians power down your laptop fully, remove the bezel or display assembly screws, disconnect the fragile LVDS/eDP display cable, and swap in a panel matched to the exact resolution and connector type your model uses — then reseat the cable and run a full-screen color/dead-pixel test before closing the lid back up.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
2 What This Requires
- The original display cable and bezel clips, which are reused — only the panel itself is replaced on a standard job.
- A flat, cleared workspace to lay out the many small screws in their original positions.
- A post-repair test under both the laptop's own backlight and an external monitor cable, when supported, to rule out a GPU-side fault.
3 When You Need This
- The display works fine on an external monitor but not on the built-in screen — this usually rules out the graphics card and points to the panel or cable.
- Pressure marks or ink-blot-like patches that spread over a few days.
- A hinge that has been over-flexed, since that often damages the display cable running through it.
