Yes — ₹350 for the inspection in Borivali. Our technician diagnoses your laptop and gives you a clear written estimate; if you go ahead with the repair, that ₹350 is adjusted against the total cost, so the inspection itself doesn't add to the bill. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹350 still applies for the technician's time. Customers across Borivali (400092) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.

Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Borivali. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Customers near Carter Road (Borivali) in Borivali are covered by our free pickup.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Borivali. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. How it's done
How We Perform Laptop Gateway Touchpad Replacement
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
When a component genuinely needs swapping rather than repairing, we first confirm the fault is hardware (not a driver or settings issue) by testing the touchpad in BIOS/firmware, where OS-level drivers play no role — then open the palm rest, disconnect the touchpad's ribbon cable, and fit a replacement unit matched to your exact chassis.
Typical time: 20–30 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A touchpad module matched to your exact chassis, since mounting points and cable length vary even within the same brand's lineup.
- A BIOS-level test to rule out a driver conflict before any hardware is opened up.
3 When You Need This
- The cursor jumps, double-clicks on its own, or stops responding in specific areas of the pad.
- Multi-finger gestures (scroll, zoom) stop working even though basic movement is fine.
- The touchpad is unresponsive even inside the BIOS/UEFI setup screen — this points to hardware, not software.
