How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a clean installation or setup, our technicians run a before/after temperature benchmark under load so the improvement is measurable, not just assumed — checking fan RPM response and idle/load temperatures both before opening the chassis and again after the clean and repaste.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
The Acer Nitro is Acer's entry-to-mid-tier gaming laptop line — a more affordable path into dedicated-GPU gaming than the flagship Predator line.
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. A high-TDP Acer in Tardeo generates significantly more heat under sustained load. Xigox matches the compound and cleaning approach to your workload: high-viscosity paste for sustained high-TDP applications, fan curve verification after the service to confirm your Acer holds 70–75°C under full load.
We know you can't stay disconnected in Tardeo. We plan this job for maximum convenience. For most issues, our technicians finish the job within hours. We arrange secure collection from your Tardeo home or office, perform the job using precision tools, and deliver it back to you.
