We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Wadi Bunder, even when the answer means we do not get the job. We also serve Dockyard Road, Chinch Bunder, Mazgaon, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.

Acer Predator Repair in Wadi Bunder — Xigox
Most Wadi Bunder repair shops handle Acer the same way they handle every other make. We do not. Our Acer technicians are trained specifically on Acer Predator architecture — schematics, boardview files and firmware behaviour — which is why our first-time fix rate on Acer work is so much higher than a general shop's.
Every Acer component we fit is OEM-grade and batch-tested before it goes into your Acer Predator — no aftermarket substitutes, no recycled pulls sold as new. You see the part cost and the labour cost separately on the estimate before we start, and the ₹350 inspection comes off the bill if you go ahead.
We actively serve the entire 400009 postal area within Mumbai City district, ensuring same-day response for every repair request. ₹350 inspection fee (refunded if you proceed with repair). Located near Mazgaon, our service coverage extends across Wadi Bunder and all surrounding localities. In addition to Wadi Bunder, we also provide doorstep repairs and free pickup for lab work for customers in Dockyard Road, Chinch Bunder, Mazgaon and other nearby areas.
How your Acer Predator gets serviced depends on the fault. Part swaps happen on-site anywhere in Wadi Bunder; board-level work goes to the bench because it needs proper rework equipment. Either way collection and return are free, and you get progress updates rather than having to chase us.
We back Acer work with a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty in writing, not just a verbal promise. If your Acer Predator does come back with the same fault, we cover it. You keep a direct WhatsApp line to the team that did the work.

How it's done
How We Perform External DVD Writer Setup
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For a clean installation or setup, our technicians check whether the fault is isolated to one port or affects all ports of that type (which usually points to a controller-chip issue on the motherboard rather than the connector itself) before deciding between a port-level repair and a board-level one.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A matched replacement connector (exact pin count and mounting footprint), since generic ports often don't physically fit the board's existing solder pads.
3 When You Need This
- Devices aren't recognized at all in that port, even though they work fine in other ports or on another computer.
- The port feels loose or the connector shell is visibly cracked or pushed in.
- Connection drops intermittently — present one moment, gone the next, with no cable changes.
