Repaired in-house by Xigox technicians
Your HP EliteBook is handled by Xigox technicians from start to finish. It is never handed on to another shop. Work that needs the repair bench is done at our workshop in Virar West.

FAQ
FAQs — HP EliteBook Hinge Broken Repair in Uttan
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
Yes — ₹350 for the inspection in Uttan. Our technician diagnoses your laptop and gives you a clear written estimate; if you go ahead with the repair, that ₹350 is adjusted against the total cost, so the inspection itself doesn't add to the bill. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹350 still applies for the technician's time. Our service covers the full 401106 postal area in Uttan.
We accept all major payment methods for HP EliteBook Hinge Broken Repair in Uttan: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, net banking, and cash. Payment is collected after the repair is completed to your satisfaction — we never charge upfront without consent. Customers near Uttan Fishing Village in Uttan are covered by our free pickup.
Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Uttan. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. We repair at component level where it is safe to do so, which is usually a fraction of that cost, and back it with our own 90-day warranty. We've been serving Thane district for over 15 years.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Free pickup also available in Bhuigaon, Vasai Fort, Bhayandar West and surrounding areas.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Uttan. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. We also serve Bhuigaon, Vasai Fort, Bhayandar West, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. Customers near Uttan Fishing Village in Uttan are covered by our free pickup.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most HP EliteBook Hinge Broken Repair work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. We've been serving Thane district for over 15 years.
Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Uttan, even when the answer means we do not get the job. Trusted by customers throughout Thane — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
Yes — Xigox operates 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week in Uttan, including Sundays and public holidays. Weekend pickups are often the most convenient option for people who cannot be at home on a working day. We also serve Bhuigaon, Vasai Fort, Bhayandar West, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
Yes, on request. Any component we remove during HP EliteBook Hinge Broken Repair is yours, and we will hand it back with the repaired laptop so you can see exactly what was changed. Just mention it when you approve the quote. We've been serving Thane district for over 15 years.

HP EliteBook Repair in Uttan — Xigox
If you are looking for HP EliteBook repair in Uttan that is not a brand service centre, this is it. Xigox has run an independent HP bench since 2011, and our technicians work on HP boards and firmware every day rather than treating them as an occasional job. Parts for HP EliteBook models are held in stock rather than ordered after you book, so most repairs are not waiting on a supplier. How it's done
How We Perform Hinge Broken Repair
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For a repair job on this component, we check both hinges (even if only one feels loose) since uneven wear on one side often means the other is close behind, then replace the worn mechanism and verify the lid opens and closes smoothly through its full range without excess play.
Typical time: 45–60 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A hinge mechanism matched to your exact chassis — hinge torque and mounting vary significantly even across different trims of the same model line.
- Careful cable routing through the new hinge, since a pinched display cable here is one of the most common causes of a screen fault appearing right after a hinge job.
3 When You Need This
- The screen feels loose, wobbly, or doesn't hold its angle on its own anymore.
- You hear cracking or grinding sounds when opening or closing the lid.
- Visible cracks in the plastic around the hinge area.

About the HP EliteBook
The HP EliteBook is HP's premium business laptop line — competing with Dell Latitude and Lenovo ThinkPad, with a strong emphasis on security (fingerprint, IR camera, HP Sure Click/Sure View) and enterprise manageability.
Key features
- HP Sure View privacy screen option on several models — a physical privacy filter toggled on-screen, worth knowing about before assuming a "dim display" is a hardware fault.
- Strong enterprise security feature set: fingerprint reader, IR camera for Windows Hello, HP Sure Start self-healing BIOS.
- Generally good build quality with a metal or metal-reinforced chassis across the range.
- MIL-STD durability testing on most generations, similar to Dell Latitude.
