How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When this needs a genuine repair rather than a reset, our technicians power down your laptop fully, remove the bezel or display assembly screws, disconnect the fragile LVDS/eDP display cable, and swap in a panel matched to the exact resolution and connector type your model uses — then reseat the cable and run a full-screen color/dead-pixel test before closing the lid back up.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
The HP Omen is HP's dedicated gaming line (laptop and desktop) — high-refresh displays, dedicated gaming GPUs, and HP's gaming-focused cooling and software (Omen Gaming Hub).
Don't waste time on booking portals. Reach the engineers directly with Xigox. VRAM overheating, shader cache corruption, and driver-level GPU faults can't be diagnosed with standard consumer tools. For HP Omen Laptop Backlight Repair in Elphinstone Road specifically, Xigox follows this exact process from start to finish — free pickup, transparent written quote, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty on the completed HP Omen Laptop Backlight Repair.
Replacing an entire board is often unnecessary than fixing the fault on it. Xigox's in-house BGA rework station means engineers diagnose the exact failing IC and replace only that component — a fraction of full board replacement. Elphinstone Road residents seek us out for chip-level job.
