HP EliteBook 840 G10 — General Repair & Service

“I brought my HP EliteBook 840 G10 to Xigox because it was freezing randomly and the fans were making a terrible grinding noise that made it impossible to work in meetings. The technician ran a comprehensive diagnostic within twenty minutes and identified that the thermal paste had completely dried out and one of the cooling fans had bearing failure. They replaced both fans with genuine OEM parts, applied premium Arctic MX-5 thermal compound, and thoroughly cleaned the air vents of accumulated dust. The temperatures dropped by nearly twenty-five degrees Celsius and the laptop now runs completely silent even under heavy load. They also updated the BIOS and ran a stress test to confirm stability. Brilliant service — Customer for life — the quality and honesty here are unmatched.”

They replaced both hinge assemblies with heavy-duty stainless steel replacements, reinforced the mounting points inside the laptop body with metal brackets, and carefully reassembled the casing so it looks completely original. The lid now opens and closes with smooth, firm resistance and there is absolutely zero wobble. They even touched up the small scuff marks on the plastic bezels.
