How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For this specific fault, our technicians remove the top case or keyboard bezel, disconnect the keyboard's ribbon cable from the motherboard, fit a replacement keyboard built for your exact model (not a generic lookalike), and test every single key before closing the chassis.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
The Lenovo IdeaPad is Lenovo's mainstream consumer laptop line — everyday computing and schoolwork at an accessible price, Lenovo's answer to Dell Inspiron and HP Pavilion.
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. Lenovo keyboard backlight issues are often caused by a flex cable fault rather than a full keyboard failure. Before assuming the whole keyboard needs replacing, our engineers check the backlight flex path and connectors specifically — sometimes a connector reseat is all that's needed. That's the standard Xigox holds for Lenovo IdeaPad Laptop Keyboard Not Working in Yashwant Smruti — free doorstep pickup, a transparent quote in writing, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty once the Lenovo IdeaPad Laptop Keyboard Not Working is complete.
The biggest frustration about repair shops in Yashwant Smruti is surprise bills after the job is done. We've built our entire model around transparency. Prior to touching your Lenovo, our technician sends a WhatsApp quote that covers everything. You see the exact cost — approve it or decline, no pressure. Our ₹350 inspection fee is fully refunded when you approve the repair.
