It depends on the age and value of the laptop. As a rule, if the repair costs less than a third of a comparable replacement and the rest of the hardware is healthy, repairing is worth it. After the inspection we tell you the honest repair cost and what a replacement would run, so the comparison is yours to make — we do not push a repair that is not worth doing. We also serve Borivali West, Borivali East, IC Colony, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
No. For any laptop that still powers on we take a full backup before touching the hardware, and for units that do not, we attempt recovery before repair. Your data is never accessed beyond what the repair requires, and nothing is copied off-site. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai Suburban — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.

We use OEM or OEM-grade components and tell you which one your quote covers before work starts. Customers across Borivali (400092) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
That is what the ₹350 inspection is for. Symptoms overlap constantly — the same visible behaviour can come from three different components. We test rather than guess, then show you what we found before quoting. If the actual fault turns out to be something cheaper, the quote reflects that. Customers near SV Road in Borivali are covered by our free pickup.

How it's done

How We Perform Laptop & Computer Hinge Broken Repair

What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.

1 How It's Performed

For a repair job on this component, we check both hinges (even if only one feels loose) since uneven wear on one side often means the other is close behind, then replace the worn mechanism and verify the lid opens and closes smoothly through its full range without excess play.

Typical time: 45–60 minutes

2 What This Requires

  • A hinge mechanism matched to your exact chassis — hinge torque and mounting vary significantly even across different trims of the same model line.
  • Careful cable routing through the new hinge, since a pinched display cable here is one of the most common causes of a screen fault appearing right after a hinge job.

3 When You Need This

  • The screen feels loose, wobbly, or doesn't hold its angle on its own anymore.
  • You hear cracking or grinding sounds when opening or closing the lid.
  • Visible cracks in the plastic around the hinge area.

About the Lenovo ThinkPad

Best for: business and technical users who prioritize keyboard quality and durability

The Lenovo ThinkPad is Lenovo's legendary business laptop line (inherited from IBM) — renowned for keyboard quality, the distinctive red TrackPoint nub, and exceptional build durability, a long-standing favorite among business and technical users.

Key features

  • TrackPoint — the signature red pointing nub between the keys, alongside a traditional touchpad, a ThinkPad hallmark since the IBM era.

  • MIL-STD-810G durability testing across the range — drops, dust, vibration, and temperature extremes.
  • Strong repairability reputation — many models have accessible maintenance hatches for RAM/storage/battery.
