Xigox repairs Lenovo ThinkPad Hinge Broken on Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MSI, Microsoft, Samsung and Toshiba, and more. Our engineers are trained on brand-specific procedures and we stock genuine-grade parts for the most common models, so most repairs in Kamani are completed the same day. Our service covers the full 400070 postal area in Kamani.
It depends on the age and value of the laptop. As a rule, if the repair costs less than a third of a comparable replacement and the rest of the hardware is healthy, repairing is worth it. After the inspection we tell you the honest repair cost and what a replacement would run, so the comparison is yours to make — we do not push a repair that is not worth doing. Customers across Kamani (400070) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
No. For any laptop that still powers on we take a full backup before touching the hardware, and for units that do not, we attempt recovery before repair. Your data is never accessed beyond what the repair requires, and nothing is copied off-site. Our service covers the full 400070 postal area in Kamani.
For part replacements our technician works at your address in Kamani. Lenovo ThinkPad Hinge Broken that traces back to the board needs microscope and hot-air rework, so that job comes to the lab — with free pickup and drop either way. We tell you which category yours is before you commit. We also serve Vidyavihar East, Vidyavihar, Pant Nagar, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
You bring it straight back. The same fault inside 90 days is covered under warranty — no second inspection fee, no diagnostic charge, no argument. The cover is there in writing so you do not have to just take our word for it. We also serve Vidyavihar East, Vidyavihar, Pant Nagar, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
We use OEM or OEM-grade components and tell you which one your quote covers before work starts. We do not fit unbranded aftermarket parts or recycled pulls sold as new — part quality is the single biggest factor in whether a laptop repair lasts, so it is not somewhere we cut cost. We also serve Vidyavihar East, Vidyavihar, Pant Nagar, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
That is what the ₹350 inspection is for. Symptoms overlap constantly — the same visible behaviour can come from three different components. We test rather than guess, then show you what we found before quoting. If the actual fault turns out to be something cheaper, the quote reflects that. Customers across Kamani (400070) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
Usually not for long. Left alone, most faults of this kind put stress on neighbouring components and turn a contained repair into a board-level one. If you cannot bring it in immediately, tell us the symptoms on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it can wait a few days or should be powered down now. We also serve Vidyavihar East, Vidyavihar, Pant Nagar, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.

How it's done

How We Perform Laptop & Computer Hinge Broken Repair

What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.

1 How It's Performed

For a repair job on this component, we check both hinges (even if only one feels loose) since uneven wear on one side often means the other is close behind, then replace the worn mechanism and verify the lid opens and closes smoothly through its full range without excess play.

Typical time: 45–60 minutes

2 What This Requires

  • A hinge mechanism matched to your exact chassis — hinge torque and mounting vary significantly even across different trims of the same model line.
  • Careful cable routing through the new hinge, since a pinched display cable here is one of the most common causes of a screen fault appearing right after a hinge job.

3 When You Need This

  • The screen feels loose, wobbly, or doesn't hold its angle on its own anymore.
  • You hear cracking or grinding sounds when opening or closing the lid.
  • Visible cracks in the plastic around the hinge area.

About the Lenovo ThinkPad

Best for: business and technical users who prioritize keyboard quality and durability

The Lenovo ThinkPad is Lenovo's legendary business laptop line (inherited from IBM) — renowned for keyboard quality, the distinctive red TrackPoint nub, and exceptional build durability, a long-standing favorite among business and technical users.

Key features

  • TrackPoint — the signature red pointing nub between the keys, alongside a traditional touchpad, a ThinkPad hallmark since the IBM era.
  • Widely regarded as having among the best keyboards in the laptop industry — genuine, deep key travel rather than a shallow chiclet feel.
  • MIL-STD-810G durability testing across the range — drops, dust, vibration, and temperature extremes.
  • Strong repairability reputation — many models have accessible maintenance hatches for RAM/storage/battery.
