How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For this specific fault, our technicians remove the top case or keyboard bezel, disconnect the keyboard's ribbon cable from the motherboard, fit a replacement keyboard built for your exact model (not a generic lookalike), and test every single key before closing the chassis.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
The Lenovo ThinkPad is Lenovo's legendary business laptop line (inherited from IBM) — renowned for keyboard quality, the distinctive red TrackPoint nub, and exceptional build durability, a long-standing favorite among business and technical users.
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. Lenovo keyboard backlight issues are often caused by a flex cable fault rather than a full keyboard failure. Before assuming the whole keyboard needs replacing, our engineers check the backlight flex path and connectors specifically — sometimes a connector reseat is all that's needed. That's the standard Xigox holds for Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop Keyboard Not Working in Papdy — free doorstep pickup, a transparent quote in writing, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty once the Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop Keyboard Not Working is complete.
