Yes — ₹350 for the inspection in Vasai West. Our technician diagnoses your laptop and gives you a clear written estimate; if you go ahead with the repair, that ₹350 is adjusted against the total cost, so the inspection itself doesn't add to the bill. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹350 still applies for the technician's time. Free pickup also available in Papdy Road, Manickpur, Moregaon and surrounding areas.
We accept all major payment methods for Apple MacBook Air External DVD Writer Setup in Vasai West: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, net banking, and cash. Payment is collected after the repair is completed to your satisfaction — we never charge upfront without consent. Our service covers the full 401202 postal area in Vasai West.
Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Vasai West. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. We repair at component level where it is safe to do so, which is usually a fraction of that cost, and back it with our own 90-day warranty. We've been serving Palghar district for over 15 years.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Our service covers the full 401202 postal area in Vasai West.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Vasai West. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. We've been serving Palghar district for over 15 years.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. Customers near Vasai Fort in Vasai West are covered by our free pickup.

How it's done
How We Perform External DVD Writer Setup
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For a clean installation or setup, our technicians check whether the fault is isolated to one port or affects all ports of that type (which usually points to a controller-chip issue on the motherboard rather than the connector itself) before deciding between a port-level repair and a board-level one.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A matched replacement connector (exact pin count and mounting footprint), since generic ports often don't physically fit the board's existing solder pads.
3 When You Need This
- Devices aren't recognized at all in that port, even though they work fine in other ports or on another computer.
- The port feels loose or the connector shell is visibly cracked or pushed in.
- Connection drops intermittently — present one moment, gone the next, with no cable changes.
The model
About the MacBook Air
The MacBook Air is Apple's thin-and-light laptop line, built around Apple Silicon (M1 through M3/M4) for fanless, silent operation and all-day battery life. It targets students, everyday productivity users, and anyone who values portability over raw sustained performance.
Key features
- Fanless design on most configurations — silent operation, but less headroom under sustained heavy load than the Pro line.
- Soldered RAM and storage — no user-upgradeable memory or SSD, so the configuration at purchase is permanent.
- Butterfly-free scissor-switch keyboard (2020 onward) — far more reliable than the pre-2020 butterfly mechanism.
- Typically 15-18 hours of real-world battery life, among the best in any laptop class.
