FAQ
FAQs — Sony VAIO Fit Black Screen Fix in Ballard Estate
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Ballard Estate. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. We repair at component level where it is safe to do so, which is usually a fraction of that cost, and back it with our own 90-day warranty. We also serve CSMT, Masjid Bunder, Fort, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Our service covers the full 400001 postal area in Ballard Estate.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Ballard Estate. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. We also serve CSMT, Masjid Bunder, Fort, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai City — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Sony VAIO Fit Black Screen Fix work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Ballard Estate, even when the answer means we do not get the job. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
Yes — Xigox operates 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week in Ballard Estate, including Sundays and public holidays. Weekend pickups are often the most convenient option for people who cannot be at home on a working day. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai City — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
Yes, on request. Any component we remove during Sony VAIO Fit Black Screen Fix is yours, and we will hand it back with the repaired laptop so you can see exactly what was changed. Just mention it when you approve the quote. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
The cost of Sony VAIO Fit Black Screen Fix in Ballard Estate depends on your laptop or computer model and the extent of damage. Most standard Sony VAIO Fit Black Screen Fix jobs start from ₹499. Call or WhatsApp +91 74997 61196 for an instant estimate. How it's done
How We Perform Black Screen Fix
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
When this exact symptom shows up, our technicians power down your laptop fully, remove the bezel or display assembly screws, disconnect the fragile LVDS/eDP display cable, and swap in a panel matched to the exact resolution and connector type your model uses — then reseat the cable and run a full-screen color/dead-pixel test before closing the lid back up.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A panel matched to your exact model's resolution, size, and connector pinout — a mismatched panel will power on but show no image.
- Anti-static handling, since display cables and connectors are easily damaged by static discharge.
- About 30–45 minutes of bench time once the correct panel is in hand.
3 When You Need This
- Visible cracks, spiderweb lines, or dark/discolored patches on the panel.
- A picture that works but flickers, has vertical lines, or shows incorrect colors.
- A backlight that stays off while the laptop itself is clearly powered on (keyboard lights up, fans spin).
The model
About the VAIO Fit
The VAIO Fit is part of VAIO's Fit line — a consumer-oriented VAIO laptop series.
Key features
- Consumer-focused configuration from its respective generation.
- As a niche brand, exact-match parts can take longer to source than mainstream brands.
