10 questions answered
Most repairs completed within 2-6 hours. Complex issues may take 1-2 days. We provide estimated timelines after diagnostic.
Yes, all repairs come with a 90-day warranty covering parts and workmanship.
Costs depend on the specific issue and device. You get a detailed written quote after the ₹350 inspection, which is credited to the repair.
Yes — ₹350 for the inspection in King Circle. Our technician diagnoses your computer and gives you a clear written estimate; if you go ahead with the repair, that ₹350 is adjusted against the total cost, so the inspection itself doesn't add to the bill. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹350 still applies for the technician's time. Our service covers the full 400019 postal area in King Circle.
We accept all major payment methods for Acer Computer External DVD Writer Setup in King Circle: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, net banking, and cash. Payment is collected after the repair is completed to your satisfaction — we never charge upfront without consent. We also serve GTB Nagar, Wadala Road, Wadala, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
Yes — out-of-warranty computers are most of what we handle in King Circle. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. We repair at component level where it is safe to do so, which is usually a fraction of that cost, and back it with our own 90-day warranty. Free pickup also available in GTB Nagar, Wadala Road, Wadala and surrounding areas.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your computer in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Customers near Matunga in King Circle are covered by our free pickup.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in King Circle. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the computer, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. Customers near Matunga in King Circle are covered by our free pickup.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your computer rather than a general helpline. Customers across King Circle (400019) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that computer before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Acer Computer External DVD Writer Setup work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. Free pickup also available in GTB Nagar, Wadala Road, Wadala and surrounding areas.

How it's done
How We Perform Computer External DVD Writer Setup
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For a clean installation or setup, our technicians check whether the fault is isolated to one port or affects all ports of that type (which usually points to a controller-chip issue on the motherboard rather than the connector itself) before deciding between a port-level repair and a board-level one.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A matched replacement connector (exact pin count and mounting footprint), since generic ports often don't physically fit the board's existing solder pads.
3 When You Need This
- Devices aren't recognized at all in that port, even though they work fine in other ports or on another computer.
- The port feels loose or the connector shell is visibly cracked or pushed in.
- Connection drops intermittently — present one moment, gone the next, with no cable changes.
