How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When setting this up from scratch, we isolate whether the fault is the keyboard itself or the embedded controller on the motherboard first using a diagnostic key-matrix test, then replace only the keyboard assembly once that's confirmed, reusing your existing keycaps' layout so the replacement matches exactly.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
Avoid the directory hustle. Choose a direct service centre with Xigox. Keyboard ghosting, cursor jumping, or a snapped hinge on your Acer requires specialist tools to fix correctly. Xigox engineers have the right tools for every Acer model, prevent chassis stress fractures during hinge work, and test all keys and cursor tracking before delivery. That's the standard Xigox holds for Acer Computer External Keyboard Setup in Kemps Corner — free doorstep pickup, a transparent quote in writing, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty once the Acer Computer External Keyboard Setup is complete.
