How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When this needs a genuine repair rather than a reset, we isolate whether the fault is the keyboard itself or the embedded controller on the motherboard first using a diagnostic key-matrix test, then replace only the keyboard assembly once that's confirmed, reusing your existing keycaps' layout so the replacement matches exactly.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
Why waste time on aggregators? Get direct service without middleman markup with Xigox. A liquid spill is the most common cause for keyboard failure on Acer laptops in Matunga. Even a drop of tea or water can short-circuit key sensors beneath the membrane. Our technicians clean and dry the keyboard layer, fix individual keys or swap the full keyboard. Most keyboard Acer Computer Keyboard Repair jobs in Matunga are completed same-day.
