How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a full replacement job, our technicians run a before/after temperature benchmark under load so the improvement is measurable, not just assumed — checking fan RPM response and idle/load temperatures both before opening the chassis and again after the clean and repaste.
Dried-out factory thermal paste is one of the most common causes of creeping temperatures on a laptop that is otherwise healthy — we always clean off the old compound fully before applying fresh paste, rather than layering over it.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
The Acer Veriton M4690G is Acer's business desktop line — tower and small-form-factor options for corporate deployment at a competitive price point.
Skip the directories. Book direct for transparent pricing with Xigox. Thermal paste on your Acer starts degrading after 18–24 months of heavy use — causing CPU temperatures to spike by 30–40°C, triggering automatic clock-speed reduction. In Agashi, Xigox's Acer Veriton M4690G Computer Workstation Thermal Paste Replacement uses Kryonaut, Arctic MX-5 or Noctua NT-H1 and deep-cleans heatsink fins to restore temps to 55–65°C under full load.
Many Agashi customers wonder whether an extended warranty applies to the repair. Xigox supports insurance claims and can provide the itemised bill your insurer needs — including parts cost, labour cost, and fault description. For out-of-warranty Acer units, third-party repair is typically usually cheaper compared to the official service centre.
Your Acer model never limits what we can fix. Xigox engineers are trained across all major brands: HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MSI, Toshiba, Samsung and Apple MacBook. Different manufacturers have unique design choices we account for in every repair. This depth of brand knowledge reduces repair time and lowers the chance of secondary damage.
Reliability matters for the repair. Because of this, our team strictly use original-specification parts for your Acer. Instead of counterfeit components, we use trusted supply chains. This guarantees your repair will last, supported by our standard 90-day warranty.
Is your deadline today? Xigox offers emergency this issue in Agashi for time-sensitive situations. From a presentation tomorrow and your Acer just crashed, our emergency service ensures completion within the same business day. Emergency this issue can be arranged including weekends in Agashi. Just say 'priority' when calling and our team will fast-track your issue immediately.
Completing the repair is just the first step at Xigox. Prior to delivery in Agashi, it undergoes a rigorous full-system inspection. We verify that your repair was executed flawlessly, testing thermal performance. This attention to detail is why our return rate is so low across Agashi.
Your private information is fully protected during your issue. Residents across Agashi rely on Xigox because we follow strict data privacy protocols. During the issue, your photos, emails, and passwords are completely secure. In cases where OS reinstallation is required, we will always inform you first.
