FAQ
FAQs — Acer Predator Laptop Backlight Repair in Thane West
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
Yes, keyboard backlight uses separate LED strips controlled by a different circuit. We repair both keyboard and screen backlights with proper testing after repair.
Backlight cable or connector repairs take 30-45 minutes. Full LED strip replacement may take 1-2 hours depending on the display assembly type.
Dim or no backlight can be caused by failed LED strips, faulty inverter board, damaged backlight cable, or driver circuit issues. Our ₹350 diagnosis pinpoints the exact failure.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Trusted by customers throughout Thane — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Thane West. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. Customers near Kolshet Road in Thane West are covered by our free pickup.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. Our service covers the full 400601 postal area in Thane West.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Acer Predator Laptop Backlight Repair work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. Our service covers the full 400601 postal area in Thane West.
Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Thane West, even when the answer means we do not get the job. Our service covers the full 400601 postal area in Thane West.
Yes — Xigox operates 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week in Thane West, including Sundays and public holidays. Weekend pickups are often the most convenient option for people who cannot be at home on a working day. We also serve Thane, Charai, Balkum, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
Yes, on request. Any component we remove during Acer Predator Laptop Backlight Repair is yours, and we will hand it back with the repaired laptop so you can see exactly what was changed. Acer Predator Repair in Thane West — Xigox
Most Thane West repair shops handle Acer the same way they handle every other make. We do not. Our Acer technicians are trained specifically on Acer Predator architecture — schematics, boardview files and firmware behaviour — which is why our first-time fix rate on Acer work is so much higher than a general shop's.
Every Acer component we fit is OEM-grade and batch-tested before it goes into your Acer Predator — no aftermarket substitutes, no recycled pulls sold as new. You see the part cost and the labour cost separately on the estimate before we start, and the ₹350 inspection comes off the bill if you go ahead.
We actively serve the entire 400601 postal area within Thane district, ensuring same-day response for every repair request. ₹350 inspection fee (refunded if you proceed with repair). Located near Kolshet Road, our service coverage extends across Thane West and all surrounding localities. In addition to Thane West, we also provide doorstep repairs and free pickup for lab work for customers in Thane, Charai, Balkum and other nearby areas.
How your Acer Predator gets serviced depends on the fault. Part swaps happen on-site anywhere in Thane West; board-level work goes to the bench because it needs proper rework equipment. Either way collection and return are free, and you get progress updates rather than having to chase us.
We back Acer work with a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty in writing, not just a verbal promise. If your Acer Predator does come back with the same fault, we cover it. You keep a direct WhatsApp line to the team that did the work.

How it's done
How We Perform Laptop Backlight Repair
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
When this needs a genuine repair rather than a reset, our technicians power down your laptop fully, remove the bezel or display assembly screws, disconnect the fragile LVDS/eDP display cable, and swap in a panel matched to the exact resolution and connector type your model uses — then reseat the cable and run a full-screen color/dead-pixel test before closing the lid back up.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
2 What This Requires
- The original display cable and bezel clips, which are reused — only the panel itself is replaced on a standard job.
- A flat, cleared workspace to lay out the many small screws in their original positions.
- A post-repair test under both the laptop's own backlight and an external monitor cable, when supported, to rule out a GPU-side fault.
3 When You Need This
- The display works fine on an external monitor but not on the built-in screen — this usually rules out the graphics card and points to the panel or cable.
- Pressure marks or ink-blot-like patches that spread over a few days.
- A hinge that has been over-flexed, since that often damages the display cable running through it.

That's the standard Xigox holds for Acer Predator Laptop Backlight Repair in Thane West — free doorstep pickup, a transparent quote in writing, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty once the Acer Predator Laptop Backlight Repair is complete.
