FAQ
FAQs — Acer Swift Laptop Battery Replacement in Andheri
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
We use high-quality compatible batteries with the same capacity as originals. Original OEM batteries are also available on request at a premium. All batteries come with 90-day warranty.
Signs of a failing battery include: rapid drain, not holding charge, laptop shutting down unexpectedly, battery swelling, or not charging at all. Xigox provides free battery health diagnosis.
Laptop battery replacement at Xigox starts from ₹2,499. MacBook batteries start from ₹3,999. Gaming laptop batteries range from ₹1,999 to ₹4,499. All batteries come with 90-day warranty.
The top battery killers are: 1) Keeping the laptop plugged in 24/7 at 100% charge — this degrades lithium-ion cells fastest, 2) Using the laptop on soft surfaces (beds, pillows) that block ventilation and cause overheating, 3) Running resource-heavy apps (games, video editing) on battery mode, 4) Extreme temperatures — heat above 35°C and cold below 0°C damage battery chemistry, 5) Old batteries beyond 500–800 charge cycles. To extend battery life: keep charge between 20–80%, use a cooling pad, and avoid extreme temperatures. If your battery holds less than 2 hours of charge, it's time for replacement — Xigox offers battery replacement from ₹2,499.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Our service covers the full 400058 postal area in Andheri.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Andheri. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. We also serve Andheri East, SEEPZ, MIDC Andheri, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai Suburban — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Acer Swift Laptop Battery Replacement work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. Customers across Andheri (400058) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Andheri, even when the answer means we do not get the job. Customers across Andheri (400058) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
Yes — Xigox operates 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week in Andheri, including Sundays and public holidays. Weekend pickups are often the most convenient option for people who cannot be at home on a working day. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai Suburban — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.

How it's done
How We Perform Laptop Battery Replacement
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For a full replacement job, we first rule out a charging-circuit fault rather than the battery itself, then — once the battery is confirmed to be the cause — remove it (external latch or internal screws depending on your model), install the replacement, and verify it holds a charge correctly.
Typical time: 20–30 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A battery matched to your exact model number, since even visually similar packs can have different voltage or connector pinouts.
- A genuine capacity test before and after, so you can see the actual improvement rather than just trusting a "new" label.
- 90-day warranty coverage specifically on the cell itself.
3 When You Need This
- Battery percentage drops unusually fast, or the laptop shuts down suddenly well above 0%.
- The laptop only turns on while plugged in, even with a battery installed.
- The battery compartment or trackpad area feels swollen or raised — this needs attention quickly, not just eventually.

- Good battery life typical of the ultrabook category.
