How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a clean installation or setup, our technicians check whether the fault is isolated to one port or affects all ports of that type (which usually points to a controller-chip issue on the motherboard rather than the connector itself) before deciding between a port-level repair and a board-level one.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
The model
The iMac 24 M1 is Apple's current all-in-one desktop, built around Apple Silicon (M1-M3) in a thin aluminum chassis with the display, computer, and often the power supply all built into one unit — distinct from a typical AIO's separate tower-behind-screen design.
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox.
