Who repairs your device
Repaired in-house by Xigox technicians
Your Apple MacBook is handled by Xigox technicians from start to finish. It is never handed on to another shop. Work that needs the repair bench is done at our workshop in Virar West.

We don't open your personal files during a repair. When a job needs access to your data, such as data recovery or a Windows reinstall, we ask you first.
- Repaired in-house, not outsourced

Yes — ₹350 for the inspection in Kemps Corner. Our technician diagnoses your laptop and gives you a clear written estimate; if you go ahead with the repair, that ₹350 is adjusted against the total cost, so the inspection itself doesn't add to the bill. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹350 still applies for the technician's time. Free pickup also available in Pedder Road, Breach Candy, Grant Road and surrounding areas.
We accept all major payment methods for Apple MacBook Keyboard Repair in Kemps Corner: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, net banking, and cash. Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Kemps Corner. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. We repair at component level where it is safe to do so, which is usually a fraction of that cost, and back it with our own 90-day warranty. Customers across Kemps Corner (400026) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Kemps Corner. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. We also serve Pedder Road, Breach Candy, Grant Road, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Apple MacBook Keyboard Repair work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. Customers near Cumballa Hill in Kemps Corner are covered by our free pickup.

How it's done
How We Perform Keyboard Repair
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
When this needs a genuine repair rather than a reset, we isolate whether the fault is the keyboard itself or the embedded controller on the motherboard first using a diagnostic key-matrix test, then replace only the keyboard assembly once that's confirmed, reusing your existing keycaps' layout so the replacement matches exactly.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
2 What This Requires
- Confirmation that liquid, if any was spilled, has been fully cleaned from the surrounding area — fitting a new keyboard over residue just causes the same fault again.
- The correct screw set for your chassis, since keyboard retention varies by model (clips vs. screws vs. both).
3 When You Need This
- One or more keys are unresponsive, sticky, or register double-presses.
- Liquid has been spilled on the keyboard, even if it seems to be working normally right now.
- Keys are physically missing, cracked, or the keycap mechanism (scissor switch) is broken.
The model
About the MacBook
The MacBook refers to Apple's laptop line broadly — we service every generation, from older Intel-based units to the current Apple Silicon models, across both everyday and professional configurations.
Key features
- Unibody aluminum construction — durable, but repairs often require more careful disassembly than plastic-chassis laptops.
- Battery and SSD are often soldered or tightly integrated on newer models, changing what a straightforward "swap" repair actually involves.
- macOS-specific diagnostics and recovery tools, distinct from Windows-based repair workflows.
