Who repairs your device
Repaired in-house by Xigox technicians
Your Apple MacBook is handled by Xigox technicians from start to finish. It is never handed on to another shop. Work that needs the repair bench is done at our workshop in Virar West.
Board-level faults are traced with a microscope, a multimeter and a soldering station before any part is replaced, and parts are fitted only after you approve the quote.
We don't open your personal files during a repair. When a job needs access to your data, such as data recovery or a Windows reinstall, we ask you first.
- Repaired in-house, not outsourced
- Quote approved by you before work starts
- Your files stay private
- Microscope and board-level tools
- Genuine or OEM-grade parts

FAQs — Apple MacBook Performance Issue in Colaba
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
Most repairs completed within 2-6 hours. Complex issues may take 1-2 days. We provide estimated timelines after diagnostic.
Yes, all repairs come with a 90-day warranty covering parts and workmanship.
Costs depend on the specific issue and device. You get a detailed written quote after the ₹350 inspection, which is credited to the repair.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Customers near Gateway of India in Colaba are covered by our free pickup.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Colaba. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. Our service covers the full 400005 postal area in Colaba.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. Customers across Colaba (400005) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Apple MacBook Performance Issue work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. Customers across Colaba (400005) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.
Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Colaba, even when the answer means we do not get the job. Our service covers the full 400005 postal area in Colaba.
Yes — Xigox operates 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week in Colaba, including Sundays and public holidays. Weekend pickups are often the most convenient option for people who cannot be at home on a working day. We've been serving Mumbai City district for over 15 years.
Yes, on request. Any component we remove during Apple MacBook Performance Issue is yours, and we will hand it back with the repaired laptop so you can see exactly what was changed. Just mention it when you approve the quote. Customers near Gateway of India in Colaba are covered by our free pickup.

How it's done
How We Perform Performance Issue
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
When this exact symptom shows up, our technicians benchmark before and after each fix step (clearing startup bloat, checking drive health, verifying RAM, checking temperatures) so you can see which specific change actually moved the needle, rather than a vague "it should be faster now."
Typical time: 45–90 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A structured check across the common causes (startup programs, drive health, RAM, temperatures, malware) rather than addressing just one and hoping.
- Before/after benchmarking so the improvement is measurable.
3 When You Need This
- Boot time, app launches, and file operations have all gotten noticeably slower over time.
- The system is fine shortly after a restart but slows down the longer it stays on.
- Fans run loud and performance drops under sustained use — a sign of thermal throttling specifically.
The model
About the MacBook
The MacBook refers to Apple's laptop line broadly — we service every generation, from older Intel-based units to the current Apple Silicon models, across both everyday and professional configurations.
Key features
- Unibody aluminum construction — durable, but repairs often require more careful disassembly than plastic-chassis laptops.
- Battery and SSD are often soldered or tightly integrated on newer models, changing what a straightforward "swap" repair actually involves.
- macOS-specific diagnostics and recovery tools, distinct from Windows-based repair workflows.
Apple MacBook Performance Issue in Colaba — Professional, Reliable, and Affordable
Skip the directories. Book direct for transparent pricing with Xigox. MacBook and iMac use proprietary design decisions that make Apple MacBook Performance Issue more complex — soldered RAM, T2 chip restrictions, and True Tone display profiles all require Apple-specific training. In Colaba, Xigox's Apple repair team handles Apple MacBook Performance Issue for MacBook Air M1/M2/M3, MacBook Pro 14"/16", iMac 24" M-series, and Mac Mini.
Xigox Service Promise for Apple MacBook Performance Issue
Xigox's responsibility extends beyond the repair itself. The Xigox after-service team remains reachable 7 days a week, 9 AM–9 PM via WhatsApp or phone. Should any concern arise within 90 days of your issue, simply contact us and a technician is dispatched at no cost. This commitment is why residents in Colaba return to Xigox.
Premium Protection Apple MacBook Performance Issue Options
A common question is whether their laptop insurance covers the repair. We help with insurance claims and can generate the detailed GST invoice required for claim submission — broken down by component and labour. For out-of-warranty Apple units, our repair is almost always often far cheaper compared to the brand's authorised centre.
No Hidden Costs Policy for Apple MacBook Performance Issue
One of the most common complaints about repair shops in Colaba is hidden charges after the job is done. Xigox operates differently. Prior to touching your Apple, our technician sends a WhatsApp quote covering parts and labour. There is zero ambiguity — the decision is entirely yours. The ₹350 diagnostic is credited 100% when you approve the repair.
Post-Repair Performance Apple MacBook Performance Issue
Following a professional repair in Colaba, you can expect significantly better performance: faster boot times, lower fan noise, full-day battery performance, or crisp, bright display — based on what was fixed. Xigox performs a benchmark at the end of every repair in Colaba to document the improvement.
Same-Day Rush Apple MacBook Performance Issue in Colaba

Whether you have an important client meeting and your Apple just stopped working, our priority service puts your Apple at the front of the queue, so most repairs can be finished the same business day. Priority repairs are available 7 days a week in Colaba. Simply mention 'URGENT' when booking and we'll prioritise your issue immediately.
