Materials & Fabrication Methods We Use

Professional-grade techniques for every laptop body type — plastic, metal, or composite.

Plastic Welding

For ABS/polycarbonate laptop bodies. We use heat welding, solvent bonding, and fibre reinforcement to repair cracked plastic casings. The weld point is sanded and finished to near-OEM appearance.

ABS, Polycarbonate, Nylon

Metal Reinforcement

Aluminium and magnesium alloy chassis repair. We use cold welding, JB Weld epoxy, and metal bracket reinforcement for bent or cracked metal bodies.

Aluminium, Magnesium Alloy

Hinge Bracket Rebuilding

Broken hinge mounting points are rebuilt using metal inserts, epoxy resin, and screw thread restoration. This prevents future hinge failures.

Brass Inserts, Metal Plates

Custom Panel Fabrication

When OEM replacement panels are unavailable, we fabricate custom bottom covers, back panels, and palmrest sections using precision cutting and moulding.

ABS Sheet, Acrylic, Carbon Fibre

Surface Finishing

After repair, damaged surfaces are sanded, filled, painted, and clear-coated to match the original colour and texture of your laptop body.

Automotive-grade Paint, Clear Coat

Structural Reinforcement

For repeatedly damaged areas, we add internal metal plates, carbon fibre patches, or additional screw points to prevent future breakage.

Laptop Body & Casing Repair Specialist in Dahisar

A damaged laptop body is more than a cosmetic issue — it compromises your laptop's structural integrity, exposes internal components to dust and debris, and can lead to screen hinge failure over time. Xigox provides professional laptop body repair, casing replacement, and chassis fabrication in Dahisar with same-day service for most repairs.

Why Laptop Body Damage Shouldn't Be Ignored

A cracked palmrest weakens the keyboard mount and touchpad alignment. A broken hinge puts tremendous stress on the screen cable, eventually causing display failure. A bent chassis can press against the motherboard, causing intermittent shutdowns. Even a missing bottom cover exposes your laptop to overheating because the ventilation design is disrupted. Early repair prevents cascading failures that cost significantly more to fix later.

Plastic vs Metal Laptop Body Repair

Plastic bodies (found on most HP, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS models) can be repaired through ABS plastic welding, solvent bonding, or custom panel fabrication. We use industrial-grade adhesives and fibre reinforcement patches for strong, lasting repairs. Metal bodies (found on MacBooks, Dell XPS, HP Spectre, Lenovo ThinkPad X1) require cold welding, epoxy bonding, or precision straightening. Our technicians are trained in both materials.

Laptop Hinge Repair — Our Most Requested Service

Broken laptop hinges account for 40%+ of all body repair requests we receive in Dahisar. The hinge mechanism endures thousands of open-close cycles, and the mounting point (usually plastic tabs embedded in the chassis) eventually cracks or pulls out. We don't just replace the hinge — we reinforce the mounting point with brass inserts and metal plates to ensure it lasts longer than the original design.

When Is Full Panel Replacement Better Than Repair?

If the damage is extensive (multiple cracks, missing sections, or warped plastic), replacement is more reliable and cost-effective than patching. We source OEM replacement panels for major laptop brands. When OEM parts are discontinued (common for models older than 5 years), we fabricate custom panels using precision-cut ABS sheet, acrylic moulding, or even carbon fibre composites for premium builds.

Our pickup-and-delivery service covers all of Dahisar and surrounding localities. Yes, due to the aluminium unibody construction and Apple-specific parts. However, it's still far cheaper than Apple's official repair cost or buying a new MacBook (₹3,000-₹8,000 vs ₹80,000-₹2,50,000).

MacBook Body Repair in Dahisar — Complete Guide

Don't waste time on booking portals. Reach the engineers directly with Xigox. Apple Silicon in MacBook Air and MacBook Pro integrates CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, and RAM on one die — creating different failure modes than Intel-era Macs. In Dahisar, Xigox's Apple engineers are trained on M1, M2, and M3 diagnostics: the specific failure patterns of Apple Silicon hardware. That's the standard Xigox holds for MacBook Body Repair in Dahisar — free doorstep pickup, a transparent quote in writing, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty once the MacBook Body Repair is complete.

Any MacBook, Any Brand in Dahisar

Your MacBook model doesn't limit what we can fix. Our technicians are brand-agnostic experts: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini and Mac Studio. Each brand has quirks in their assembly that our team knows well. Model-specific experience cuts diagnostic time and improves first-time fix rates.

Independent MacBook Body Repair in Dahisar

Apple computers demand in-depth knowledge for this issue — generic repair techniques are inadequate with Apple's proprietary design. Xigox engineers in Dahisar are trained in Apple-specific repair procedures: Retina display calibration, covering MacBook Pro 14"/16", iMac 24" M-series, and Mac Mini. All parts are tested to the original specification.

Genuine Parts for MacBook Body Repair

Quality matters for the repair. Because of this, our team strictly use genuine parts for your MacBook. Instead of unbranded components, we use trusted supply chains. This guarantees your repair will last, supported by our standard 90-day warranty.

Pickup & Drop Across Dahisar

Customers from Dahisar with free pickup and drop. Every job gets a written quote before any work, genuine parts and a 90-day warranty, whether it is one laptop or an office fleet. By trusting us for this issue in Dahisar, your device is repaired at our Virar West workshop and returned tested.

Warranty & After-Service for MacBook Body Repair

Insurance & Out-of-Warranty MacBook Body Repair Options

Many Dahisar customers wonder whether their laptop insurance covers this issue. We help with insurance claims and can generate the detailed GST invoice required for claim submission — broken down by component and labour. For out-of-warranty MacBook units, our repair is almost always often far cheaper compared to the brand's authorised centre.

Transparent Inspection in Dahisar

Not sure what's wrong with your MacBook? Before you commit to any repair, Xigox conducts a comprehensive hardware inspection. While we charge a nominal ₹350, this amount is fully refunded when you approve the quote. Our local experts will explain the exact fault clearly so you can make an informed decision.

Multi-Point Inspection after MacBook Body Repair

Fixing the immediate problem is only half the job at Xigox. Prior to delivery in Dahisar, it must pass a comprehensive 20-point quality check. Our team ensures that the issue was 100% successful, checking port functionality. This level of testing is the reason for our 4.9★ rating across Dahisar.

After-Repair Care for MacBook Body Repair

Xigox's responsibility extends beyond the repair itself. The Xigox after-service team remains reachable 7 days a week, 9 AM–9 PM via WhatsApp or phone. Should any concern arise within 90 days of your repair, simply contact us and a technician is dispatched at no cost. This commitment is why residents in Dahisar return to Xigox.
