If your PC turns on (fans spin, lights on) but the monitor shows "No Signal," the display path is broken — usually RAM, the cable, or the graphics card.

Check in This Order
  • Monitor input & cable — correct HDMI/DP input selected; try another cable.
  • Graphics port — if you have a graphics card, plug into the CARD, not the motherboard port.
  • Reseat the RAM — remove and firmly re-insert the sticks; test one at a time. Loose/faulty RAM is the #1 no-display cause.
  • Reseat the graphics card.
  • Listen for beep codes — they tell you which component is failing.
