How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a full replacement job, our technicians run a before/after temperature benchmark under load so the improvement is measurable, not just assumed — checking fan RPM response and idle/load temperatures both before opening the chassis and again after the clean and repaste.
Dried-out factory thermal paste is one of the most common causes of creeping temperatures on a laptop that is otherwise healthy — we always clean off the old compound fully before applying fresh paste, rather than layering over it.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
A Custom Gaming PC is a desktop built from individually selected components rather than a pre-built model line — the specific parts, cooling, and capabilities vary entirely by build, so diagnosis always starts with identifying exactly what's installed.
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. A high-TDP Custom in Poisar generates significantly more heat under sustained load. Xigox matches the compound and cleaning approach to your workload: high-viscosity paste for sustained high-TDP applications, fan curve verification after the service to confirm your Custom holds 70–75°C under full load.
We know you can't stay disconnected in Poisar. We plan this repair for speed and efficiency. For most issues, our technicians finish the repair within hours. We arrange secure collection from your Poisar home or office, execute the repair using precision tools, and deliver it back to you.
All this job performed by Xigox in Poisar comes with a written 90-day warranty covering parts and labour. Simply put, if the same issue recurs within 90 days, we redo it completely free. Xigox issues a printed warranty receipt every single time, so you know exactly what is covered.
Your private information is fully protected during your repair. Residents across Poisar rely on Xigox because we follow strict data privacy protocols. During the repair, your photos, emails, and passwords are completely secure. In cases where OS reinstallation is required, we will always inform you first.
While your Custom is opened for this job in Poisar, it's the perfect time to consider an upgrade. A large number of clients choose to add more RAM during the same visit. Bundling these services saves you money on labour and extends its life by years. Inquire today about performance upgrades when you book your job.
