How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When this exact symptom shows up, we run the printer's built-in nozzle check pattern first to map exactly which nozzles are clogged, then run targeted cleaning cycles (escalating to a manual solvent soak for stubborn, long-dried clogs) rather than repeatedly running a generic auto-clean that wastes ink without fixing a hard clog.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
The model
The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is part of Epson's EcoTank line — the printer line that pioneered the refillable-ink-tank category, built for high-volume home/office printing at a very low cost-per-page.
