How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a full replacement job, we check the battery's actual health (cycle count and current capacity vs. its rated capacity) before replacing it, then safely discharge and disconnect the old cell, fit a replacement matched to your model's voltage and connector, and recalibrate the battery gauge with a full charge-discharge cycle.
A failing CMOS battery typically shows up as a reset system clock or lost BIOS settings every time your computer is powered off — the replacement is a small coin-cell swap on the motherboard, distinct from the main battery.
Typical time: 20–30 minutes
The model
The HP OMEN 40L is HP's dedicated gaming line (laptop and desktop) — high-refresh displays, dedicated gaming GPUs, and HP's gaming-focused cooling and software (Omen Gaming Hub).

In Uttan, Xigox's HP OMEN 40L Computer CMOS Battery Replacement restores full-day battery performance: BIS-certified packs, 45–90 minute installation, and a post-service runtime test to confirm full mAh is delivered.
