How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When this needs a genuine repair rather than a reset, our technicians run a before/after temperature benchmark under load so the improvement is measurable, not just assumed — checking fan RPM response and idle/load temperatures both before opening the chassis and again after the clean and repaste.
Dried-out factory thermal paste is one of the most common causes of creeping temperatures on a laptop that is otherwise healthy — we always clean off the old compound fully before applying fresh paste, rather than layering over it.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
The HP OMEN 40L is HP's dedicated gaming line (laptop and desktop) — high-refresh displays, dedicated gaming GPUs, and HP's gaming-focused cooling and software (Omen Gaming Hub).
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. A gaming laptop or creative workstation in Matunga stresses the cooling system far more than casual use. Xigox tailors the thermal solution to your use case: premium compound for demanding tasks, fan profile checks included to confirm temperatures stay within safe limits after HP OMEN 40L Thermal Paste Application.
Quality matters for the repair. Because of this, our team strictly use genuine parts for your HP. Instead of unbranded components, we use trusted supply chains. This is how we help your repair stay durable, supported by our standard 90-day warranty.
All this issue completed by Xigox in Matunga comes with a written three-month warranty on parts and labour. That means, if anything goes wrong within 3 months, we fix it at zero extra cost. You get a written warranty card with every issue, so the terms are clear.
Your HP model doesn't limit what we can fix. Our technicians are brand-agnostic experts: HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MSI, Toshiba, Samsung and Apple MacBook. Each brand has quirks in their assembly that our team knows well. Model-specific experience cuts diagnostic time and improves first-time fix rates.
Uncertain about the issue with your HP? Prior to starting any issue, Xigox performs a thorough diagnostic check. The ₹350 inspection fee, it is 100% refunded if you proceed with the repair. Our technicians in Matunga will show you the broken part in plain English so you can make an informed decision.
A common question is whether an extended warranty applies to the repair. Xigox supports insurance claims and can provide the itemised bill your insurer needs — including parts cost, labour cost, and fault description. For out-of-warranty HP units, third-party repair is typically usually cheaper compared to the official service centre.
Fixing the immediate problem is only half the job at Xigox. Before your HP is returned in Matunga, it must pass a comprehensive multi-point quality check. Our team ensures that the issue was successful, checking wi-fi connectivity. This level of testing is the reason for our 4.9★ rating across Matunga.
