Yes — ₹350 for the inspection in Matunga. Our technician diagnoses your laptop and gives you a clear written estimate; if you go ahead with the repair, that ₹350 is adjusted against the total cost, so the inspection itself doesn't add to the bill. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹350 still applies for the technician's time. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai City — rated 4.9★ across 9,605+ reviews.

Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Matunga. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. How it's done
How We Perform Screen Cable Replacement
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
When a component genuinely needs swapping rather than repairing, our technicians power down your laptop fully, remove the bezel or display assembly screws, disconnect the fragile LVDS/eDP display cable, and swap in a panel matched to the exact resolution and connector type your model uses — then reseat the cable and run a full-screen color/dead-pixel test before closing the lid back up.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A panel matched to your exact model's resolution, size, and connector pinout — a mismatched panel will power on but show no image.
- Anti-static handling, since display cables and connectors are easily damaged by static discharge.
- About 30–45 minutes of bench time once the correct panel is in hand.
3 When You Need This
- The display works fine on an external monitor but not on the built-in screen — this usually rules out the graphics card and points to the panel or cable.
- Pressure marks or ink-blot-like patches that spread over a few days.
- A hinge that has been over-flexed, since that often damages the display cable running through it.
The model
About the HP Spectre
The HP Spectre is HP's flagship premium consumer laptop — distinctive gem-cut design, premium materials (often copper/black or nightfall black finishes), and HP's best available display and build quality.
Key features
- Distinctive gem-cut industrial design — a genuine aesthetic standout compared to the rest of HP's lineup.
- Premium build materials (aluminum, sometimes with copper accents) throughout.
- Often has soldered RAM given its thin profile — confirm the specific generation before assuming an upgrade is possible.
- Premium pricing reflects premium repair-parts cost relative to Pavilion/Envy.
