Dell Vostro 3520 — Broken Hinge Fix

“The left hinge on my Dell Vostro 3520 cracked completely and the screen was wobbling dangerously every time I tried to open or close the lid, with pieces of plastic falling off the base. At the Xigox the technician inspected both hinges and found that the right hinge was also developing stress fractures. They replaced both hinge assemblies with heavy-duty stainless steel replacements, reinforced the mounting points inside the laptop body with metal brackets, and carefully reassembled the casing so it looks completely original. The lid now opens and closes with smooth, firm resistance and there is absolutely zero wobble. They even touched up the small scuff marks on the plastic bezels. Fantastic repair quality — Five stars does not feel enough — they deserve ten out of ten.”

MacBook Air M2 13-inch — General Repair & Service

“I brought my MacBook Air M2 13-inch to Xigox because it was freezing randomly and the fans were making a terrible grinding noise that made it impossible to work in meetings. The technician ran a comprehensive diagnostic within twenty minutes and identified that the thermal paste had completely dried out and one of the cooling fans had bearing failure. They replaced both fans with genuine OEM parts, applied premium Arctic MX-5 thermal compound, and thoroughly cleaned the air vents of accumulated dust. The temperatures dropped by nearly twenty-five degrees Celsius and the laptop now runs completely silent even under heavy load. They also updated the BIOS and ran a stress test to confirm stability. Fantastic service — I have already recommended Xigox to three of my colleagues.”
