How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For this specific fault, we check the battery's actual health (cycle count and current capacity vs. its rated capacity) before replacing it, then safely discharge and disconnect the old cell, fit a replacement matched to your model's voltage and connector, and recalibrate the battery gauge with a full charge-discharge cycle.
Typical time: 20–30 minutes
The model
The MacBook Pro is Apple's performance-oriented laptop, aimed at creative professionals, developers, and power users who need sustained CPU/GPU performance — active cooling, higher-refresh ProMotion displays on 14"/16" models, and more I/O than the Air.
