FAQ
FAQs — Apple MacBook Pro Driver Installation in Govandi
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
Basic driver installation takes 30-60 minutes. Complete setup with updates takes 1-2 hours.
Yes — out-of-warranty laptops are most of what we handle in Govandi. Once the manufacturer warranty lapses, authorised centres often quote near-replacement prices for a single component. We repair at component level where it is safe to do so, which is usually a fraction of that cost, and back it with our own 90-day warranty. We've been serving Mumbai Suburban district for over 15 years.
You pay nothing beyond the ₹350 inspection. If we cannot resolve the fault, we explain exactly what we found, return your laptop in the condition we received it, and — where the economics do not justify a repair — tell you so plainly rather than selling you work that is not worth doing. Free pickup also available in Govandi East, Shivaji Nagar Govandi, Mankhurd and surrounding areas.
For software faults, setup, upgrades and diagnostics we can work on-site anywhere in Govandi. Component-level work — board repair, screen bonding, liquid-damage recovery — needs workshop equipment, so we collect the laptop, repair it, and return it. Both options are free of travel charges. We've been serving Mumbai Suburban district for over 15 years.
We send live updates over WhatsApp at each stage: collection, diagnosis, quote approval, repair completion, and dispatch. You can reply to that thread at any point to reach the technician handling your laptop rather than a general helpline. We also serve Govandi East, Shivaji Nagar Govandi, Mankhurd, so you can recommend us to neighbours too.
Back up documents, photos and anything stored only on that laptop before any repair — with us or anyone else. Most Apple MacBook Pro Driver Installation work does not touch your data, but board-level faults and storage failures can be unpredictable. Tell us in advance if the drive holds irreplaceable data and we will treat recovery as the first priority. Trusted by customers throughout Mumbai Suburban — rated 4.9★ across 9,727+ reviews.
Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the laptop is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Govandi, even when the answer means we do not get the job. Free pickup also available in Govandi East, Shivaji Nagar Govandi, Mankhurd and surrounding areas.
Yes — Xigox operates 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week in Govandi, including Sundays and public holidays. Weekend pickups are often the most convenient option for people who cannot be at home on a working day. Our service covers the full 400043 postal area in Govandi.
Yes, on request. Any component we remove during Apple MacBook Pro Driver Installation is yours, and we will hand it back with the repaired laptop so you can see exactly what was changed. Just mention it when you approve the quote. We've been serving Mumbai Suburban district for over 15 years.
The cost of Apple MacBook Pro Driver Installation in Govandi depends on your laptop or computer model and the extent of damage. Xigox charges ₹350 for inspection — refunded if you proceed with the repair — you'll receive a transparent, written quote with no hidden charges. Most standard Apple MacBook Pro Driver Installation jobs start from ₹499. Call or WhatsApp +91 74997 61196 for an instant estimate. Customers near Shivaji Nagar in Govandi are covered by our free pickup.

Apple MacBook Pro Repair in Govandi — Xigox
Most Govandi repair shops handle Apple the same way they handle every other make. We do not. Our Apple technicians are trained specifically on Apple MacBook Pro architecture — schematics, boardview files and firmware behaviour — which is why our first-time fix rate on Apple work is so much higher than a general shop's.
Every Apple component we fit is OEM-grade and batch-tested before it goes into your Apple MacBook Pro — no aftermarket substitutes, no recycled pulls sold as new. You see the part cost and the labour cost separately on the estimate before we start, and the ₹350 inspection comes off the bill if you go ahead.
We actively serve the entire 400043 postal area within Mumbai Suburban district, ensuring same-day response for every repair request. ₹350 inspection fee (refunded if you proceed with repair). Located near Shivaji Nagar, our service coverage extends across Govandi and all surrounding localities. In addition to Govandi, we also provide doorstep repairs and free pickup for lab work for customers in Govandi East, Shivaji Nagar Govandi, Mankhurd and other nearby areas.
Straightforward Apple jobs — battery, keyboard, screen, SSD or RAM — are done at your address in Govandi. Anything needing the microscope and hot-air station comes back to the lab, with free pickup and drop either way. We confirm within 15 minutes of booking and tell you honestly whether it is a same-day fix.
We back Apple work with a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty in writing, not just a verbal promise. If your Apple MacBook Pro does come back with the same fault, we cover it. You keep a direct WhatsApp line to the team that did the work.

How it's done
How We Perform Driver Installation
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For a clean installation or setup, for driver-specific faults, we identify the exact chipset/controller involved, remove the conflicting or corrupted driver cleanly, and install the manufacturer-correct version rather than letting Windows Update pick a generic one that may not fully support every feature of your hardware.
Typical time: 30–90 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A backup of your existing files before any OS-level work begins — a format/reinstall is not reversible afterward.
- Genuine, licensed software — we don't install pirated copies, which carry both legal risk and a much higher rate of hidden malware.
- The manufacturer-specific driver package for your exact model, not a generic one.
3 When You Need This
- Repeated driver crashes or "device not working properly" errors in Device Manager that persist across restarts.
The model
About the MacBook Pro
The MacBook Pro is Apple's performance-oriented laptop, aimed at creative professionals, developers, and power users who need sustained CPU/GPU performance — active cooling, higher-refresh ProMotion displays on 14"/16" models, and more I/O than the Air.
Key features
- Active fan cooling allows sustained high performance under video export, 3D rendering, and compilation workloads.
- Soldered RAM/storage on Apple Silicon models — same upgrade limitation as the Air, more pronounced given the higher price point.
- Liquid Retina XDR display on 14"/16" models — genuinely class-leading color accuracy and brightness for creative work.
- Multiple Thunderbolt/USB-C ports plus, on larger models, HDMI and an SD card slot.
