Xigox is CSMT's leading independent specialist for MSI All-in-One PC repair. Our engineers are not generalists — they undergo dedicated training on MSI hardware, firmware and diagnostics. Parts for MSI All-in-One PC models are held in stock rather than ordered after you book, so most repairs are not waiting on a supplier. MSI does not build one all-in-one PC — it builds 9 separate series, and All-in-One PC External DVD Writer Setup is a different job on each. Xigox services Creator, GF, Katana and MAG and the rest of the MSI range. We regularly take in Creator, GF, Katana and MAG, along with MEG, Modern, Prestige and Raider units for All-in-One PC External DVD Writer Setup in CSMT. Specific MSI models on our current service list include MSI Modern AM242 AIO and MSI PRO AP242 AIO. If your MSI model is not listed, it is almost certainly still covered — send us the model number on the base sticker and we will confirm parts availability before you book.
The MSI PRO AP242 AIO is part of MSI's PRO all-in-one line — business and productivity-focused AIOs built for office use rather than gaming.
The MSI Modern AM242 AIO is part of MSI's Modern all-in-one line — mainstream home/office AIOs with a clean, minimal design aesthetic.

How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a clean installation or setup, our technicians check whether the fault is isolated to one port or affects all ports of that type (which usually points to a controller-chip issue on the motherboard rather than the connector itself) before deciding between a port-level repair and a board-level one.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
