10 questions answered
Send us your question on WhatsApp or call — a technician will answer.
Most Elphinstone Road repair shops handle MSI the same way they handle every other make. We do not. Our MSI technicians are trained specifically on MSI Modern AM242 AIO architecture — schematics, boardview files and firmware behaviour — which is why our first-time fix rate on MSI work is so much higher than a general shop's.
Every MSI component we fit is OEM-grade and batch-tested before it goes into your MSI Modern AM242 AIO — no aftermarket substitutes, no recycled pulls sold as new. You see the part cost and the labour cost separately on the estimate before we start, and the ₹350 inspection comes off the bill if you go ahead.
We actively serve the entire 400013 postal area within Mumbai City district, ensuring same-day response for every repair request. ₹350 inspection fee (refunded if you proceed with repair). Located near Prabhadevi, our service coverage extends across Elphinstone Road and all surrounding localities. In addition to Elphinstone Road, we also provide doorstep repairs and free pickup for lab work for customers in Lower Parel, Currey Road, Lalbaug and other nearby areas.
Doorstep part replacement (battery, keyboard, screen, SSD, RAM) is available across Elphinstone Road. For chip-level and motherboard repairs, we provide free pickup and drop — confirming within 15 minutes of your booking. Most common faults are resolved same-day. For complex repairs, we provide a realistic timeline and keep you updated throughout.
We back MSI work with a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty in writing, not just a verbal promise. If your MSI Modern AM242 AIO does come back with the same fault, we cover it. You keep a direct WhatsApp line to the team that did the work.

How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a repair job on this component, our technicians check whether the fault is isolated to one port or affects all ports of that type (which usually points to a controller-chip issue on the motherboard rather than the connector itself) before deciding between a port-level repair and a board-level one.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
The model
The MSI Modern AM242 AIO is part of MSI's Modern all-in-one line — mainstream home/office AIOs with a clean, minimal design aesthetic.
Don't waste time on booking portals. Reach the engineers directly with Xigox. Bulging or leaking capacitors in Elphinstone Road are an extremely common fault on boards older than 5 years — especially after Mumbai's humid monsoon cycles. Xigox's board-level engineers perform targeted cap replacement rather than recommending a full board swap: a ₹500–₹1,500 repair instead of a ₹10,000–₹25,000 board replacement. That's the standard Xigox holds for MSI Modern AM242 AIO All-in-One PC HDMI Port Repair in Elphinstone Road — free doorstep pickup, a transparent quote in writing, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty once the MSI Modern AM242 AIO All-in-One PC HDMI Port Repair is complete.
