10 questions answered
Send us your question on WhatsApp or call — a technician will answer.
Most Gamdevi repair shops handle MSI the same way they handle every other make. We do not. Our MSI technicians are trained specifically on MSI Laptop architecture — schematics, boardview files and firmware behaviour — which is why our first-time fix rate on MSI work is so much higher than a general shop's.
Every MSI component we fit is OEM-grade and batch-tested before it goes into your Laptop — no aftermarket substitutes, no recycled pulls sold as new. You see the part cost and the labour cost separately on the estimate before we start, and the ₹350 inspection comes off the bill if you go ahead.
We actively serve the entire 400007 postal area within Mumbai Suburban district, ensuring same-day response for every repair request. ₹350 inspection fee (refunded if you proceed with repair). Located near Bhulabhai Desai Road, our service coverage extends across Gamdevi and all surrounding localities. In addition to Gamdevi, we also provide doorstep repairs and free pickup for lab work for customers in Oshiwara, Lokhandwala, Lokhandwala Back Road and other nearby areas.
Straightforward MSI jobs — battery, keyboard, screen, SSD or RAM — are done at your address in Gamdevi. Anything needing the microscope and hot-air station comes back to the lab, with free pickup and drop either way. We confirm within 15 minutes of booking and tell you honestly whether it is a same-day fix.
Every MSI repair at Xigox is covered by a 90-day warranty on all parts and labour. If the same fault recurs within the warranty period, we fix it at no charge. Our after-repair WhatsApp support means we are always available to answer questions about your MSI Laptop.

Product lines
Xigox keeps MSI parts and service documentation for 9 MSI series, so Laptop Screen Backlight Failure Repair on a Creator, GF, Katana and MAG machine is handled by someone who has seen that chassis before. We regularly take in Creator, GF, Katana and MAG, along with MEG, Modern, Prestige and Raider units for Laptop Screen Backlight Failure Repair in Gamdevi. Specific MSI models on our current service list include MSI GF63 Thin, MSI Katana 15 and MSI Raider GE78 HX. If your MSI model is not listed, it is almost certainly still covered — send us the model number on the base sticker and we will confirm parts availability before you book.
The MSI Raider GE78 HX is part of MSI's Raider line — MSI's flagship high-performance gaming laptops, with the strongest available GPU configurations, high-refresh displays, and MSI's most aggressive cooling.
The MSI GF63 Thin (GF-series) is part of MSI's entry-level gaming laptop range — a budget-friendly path into dedicated-GPU gaming, thinner and lighter than MSI's higher-tier gaming lines.
The MSI Katana 15 is part of MSI's Katana line — mid-tier gaming laptops offering a dedicated GPU and high-refresh display at a more accessible price than MSI's flagship Raider/Titan lines.
Worth knowing for this repair: High-refresh display on most configurations.

How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a repair job on this component, our technicians power down your laptop fully, remove the bezel or display assembly screws, disconnect the fragile LVDS/eDP display cable, and swap in a panel matched to the exact resolution and connector type your model uses — then reseat the cable and run a full-screen color/dead-pixel test before closing the lid back up.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
Avoid the directory hustle. Choose a direct service centre with Xigox. A black screen, flickering display, or visible cracks on your MSI — these are the signs you need MSI Laptop Screen Backlight Failure Repair in Gamdevi. Instead of replacing the full lid assembly, Xigox performs targeted panel replacement — at a fraction of a full assembly replacement. All panels undergoes dead-pixel testing, backlight calibration, and touch verification before delivery.
Reliability matters for the repair. Because of this, our team strictly use original-specification parts for your MSI. Instead of counterfeit components, we use trusted supply chains. This guarantees your repair will last, supported by our standard 90-day warranty.

Many MSI problems trace back to software. Our team are equally skilled at diagnosing and fixing virus infections as hardware repair. Whether your MSI has: a corrupted Windows or macOS installation, a malware infection, blue screens, or boot sector errors. We reinstall and configure macOS cleanly and quickly, preserving your data wherever possible.
A common question is whether an extended warranty applies to the repair. When manufacturer warranty has expired, third-party repair is typically usually cheaper compared to the official service centre.
Not everyone in Gamdevi can handle complex this issue. Xigox's engineers work on MSI hardware every day specifically for MSI hardware. Whether it's a minor fix or advanced component-level motherboard repair, we fix it properly right here for Gamdevi clients.
