Repaired in-house by Xigox technicians
Your Sony VAIO Pro is handled by Xigox technicians from start to finish. It is never handed on to another shop. Work that needs the repair bench is done at our workshop in Virar West.

How it's done
How We Perform Laptop Bezel Replacement
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For a full replacement job, we open the display housing carefully to avoid stressing the hinge brackets, lift out the cracked or faulty panel, connect and test the replacement panel on the open chassis first, and only close everything back up once the picture is confirmed clean edge-to-edge.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
2 What This Requires
- The original display cable and bezel clips, which are reused — only the panel itself is replaced on a standard job.
- A flat, cleared workspace to lay out the many small screws in their original positions.
- A post-repair test under both the laptop's own backlight and an external monitor cable, when supported, to rule out a GPU-side fault.
3 When You Need This
- Visible cracks, spiderweb lines, or dark/discolored patches on the panel.
- A picture that works but flickers, has vertical lines, or shows incorrect colors.
- A backlight that stays off while the laptop itself is clearly powered on (keyboard lights up, fans spin).
The model
About the VAIO Pro
The VAIO Pro is part of VAIO's Pro line — a premium, thin-and-light VAIO laptop series historically positioned against the ultrabook competition of its era.
Key features
- Thin-and-light premium positioning for its generation.
- As a niche brand, exact-match parts can take longer to source than mainstream brands.
