Sometimes you do not need a full agency engagement — you need someone who can pick up an existing codebase in Bolinj, understand it, fix what is broken and ship the next feature. This is developer capacity you can book by project or by month.
Roughly half the developer enquiries we receive involve a site somebody else built and nobody currently maintains. The original developer is unreachable, the hosting login is missing, and something has just broken.
We start those engagements with an audit rather than a quote, because until someone has read the code any estimate is fiction. You get an honest assessment of what you have, what continuing would cost, and whether continuing is the right call at all.
We have delivered web developer projects for shops, clinics and small manufacturers across Bolinj and the wider Palghar area.
Work is quoted against a written scope, so the number you approve for web developer in Bolinj is the number you pay.
We cover Bolinj (401303) and the surrounding Palghar area — on site where a meeting genuinely helps, and remotely where it does not.
A written assessment of code quality, security exposure and upgrade risk before you commit to work.
We regularly inherit work from developers who have moved on, including undocumented code.
Defined SLAs on retainers, so a broken checkout does not wait behind feature work.
Laravel and PHP upgrades done incrementally with tests, not as a risky big-bang rewrite.
Slow queries and N+1 problems identified with real profiling rather than guesswork.
Pull requests against your repository, code review, and your branching conventions respected.
We read what exists and report on quality, security and upgrade risk before quoting anything.
Work broken into priced, independently shippable items so you choose what gets done first.
Either a defined block of work or a recurring monthly allocation of hours.
Every change reviewed before merge, including by your own team if you have one.
Released with rollback instructions and notes any future developer can follow.
Chosen for web developer work specifically, and why.
Versions 8 through 12, including upgrades between them on legacy projects.
From legacy 7.x codebases up to 8.3, including the migration path between them.
Component work, state management and integration with an existing backend.
Common in inherited Laravel projects, so we maintain it regularly.
Vanilla work where a framework would be overkill for what is actually needed.
Query optimisation, index tuning and schema migration on live data.
Connecting to gateways, CRMs and logistics providers with proper retry and logging.
You brief the developer working on your code, not an account manager relaying messages.
Continuing what you have is usually far cheaper than starting again, and we say when it is not.
Increase hours when you have a push on, reduce them when you do not.
Documentation is part of the work, so you are not simply swapping one dependency for another.
Specific to web developer projects, and worth avoiding before you commit budget.
Quoting on a codebase nobody has read produces estimates that are wrong by multiples.
Developers often prefer a rewrite. Frequently the existing code is fine and only needs upgrading.
If your developer holds the only copy of the code, you do not own your website.
Skipping four framework versions at once is how upgrades turn into month-long outages.
Third-party platforms commonly connected on web developer projects.
Pull requests and review against your own repository.
Error tracking so problems surface before customers report them.
Zero-downtime deployment with one-click rollback.
Performance profiling to find the actual bottleneck.
Deployment and error alerts in the channel your team already watches.
Work tracked in whatever system you already use.

“The audit told us plainly that a third of the code was fine and a third had to go. Nobody else would look before quoting.”
“Having a developer on retainer who already knows our codebase means small changes actually happen instead of piling up.”
Yes, and it is our most common request. We start with an audit so you know the real condition of the code before committing to further work.
Both. Fixed price where scope is clear; a monthly retainer where work is ongoing and hard to specify precisely in advance.
Yes, including pull requests against your repository, code review and following your branching conventions.
We say so in the audit, with reasoning. Occasionally rebuilding genuinely costs less than continuing, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.
Audits usually begin within a week. Retainer work depends on current capacity, which we confirm honestly before you commit.
For retainer clients, yes, with a defined response time. One-off emergencies are handled where capacity allows.
Different requirement? These pages cover it.
