Xigox has run an independent Acer bench since 2011, and our technicians work on Acer boards and firmware every day rather than treating them as an occasional job. Parts for Acer Computer models are held in stock rather than ordered after you book, so most repairs are not waiting on a supplier. How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a full replacement job, we isolate whether the fault is the keyboard itself or the embedded controller on the motherboard first using a diagnostic key-matrix test, then replace only the keyboard assembly once that's confirmed, reusing your existing keycaps' layout so the replacement matches exactly.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
