How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When this exact symptom shows up, our technicians check for a battery that's fully dead versus a charging-circuit fault that just looks like a dead battery (the device may power on fine from the wall with the battery removed, which narrows the cause immediately).
Typical time: 30–60 minutes
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. Desktop PC diagnostics in Cuffe Parade need a different approach than laptop repair — a POST card, PSU tester, and RAM slot isolation. Xigox technicians use a methodical component-isolation sequence: starting from the most common fault point outward. This prevents unnecessary parts purchases — you don't replace a ₹8,000 GPU if the PSU is the real fault.
Each issue performed by Xigox in Cuffe Parade comes with a comprehensive 90-day warranty covering parts and labour. Simply put, if the same issue recurs within 90 days, we redo it completely free. Xigox issues a printed warranty receipt every single time, so you know exactly what is covered.
The biggest frustration about repair shops in Cuffe Parade is surprise bills after the job is done. We've built our entire model around transparency. Prior to touching your Acer, our technician shares a written quote that covers everything. You see the exact cost — approve it or decline, no pressure. Our ₹350 inspection fee is fully refunded when you proceed with the repair.
Reliability matters for this issue. Because of this, our team strictly use original-specification parts for your Acer. Instead of counterfeit components, we use trusted supply chains. This guarantees your issue will last, supported by our standard 90-day warranty.
