Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than roughly half of a comparable replacement and the computer is more than five years old, replacement is usually the better call. We tell you which side of that line you are on during the inspection in Chinchpokli, even when the answer means we do not get the job. Customers across Chinchpokli (400011) enjoy priority same-day scheduling.

How it's done
How We Perform Camera Not Working Fix
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
1 How It's Performed
For this specific fault, we first confirm the camera is actually disabled or faulty at the hardware level (checking Device Manager/System Report for whether the OS even detects it) before opening the bezel, since a large share of "broken webcam" cases are a software permission or driver issue, not hardware at all.
Typical time: 20–30 minutes
2 What This Requires
- A check of whether the OS detects the camera at all, and whether any physical privacy shutter/switch is simply closed — both are common non-hardware causes.
- A camera module matched to your model's exact bezel mounting and cable connector.
3 When You Need This
- The issue started right after cleaning the screen — it's easy to accidentally dislodge the thin camera ribbon cable near the bezel edge during a screen wipe-down.
The model
About the Custom Gaming PC
A Custom Gaming PC is a desktop built from individually selected components rather than a pre-built model line — the specific parts, cooling, and capabilities vary entirely by build, so diagnosis always starts with identifying exactly what's installed.
Key features
- Component mix is unique to each build — we identify the exact parts installed before diagnosing or quoting any repair.
- Standard ATX-compatible parts in the vast majority of custom builds, meaning broad replacement-part availability.
- Cooling and case airflow quality varies enormously between builds — this matters more for diagnosing thermal issues than on a pre-built system.
