How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a full replacement job, we check the battery's actual health (cycle count and current capacity vs. its rated capacity) before replacing it, then safely discharge and disconnect the old cell, fit a replacement matched to your model's voltage and connector, and recalibrate the battery gauge with a full charge-discharge cycle.
A failing CMOS battery typically shows up as a reset system clock or lost BIOS settings every time your computer is powered off — the replacement is a small coin-cell swap on the motherboard, distinct from the main battery.
Typical time: 20–30 minutes
The model
A Custom Office PC is a desktop built from individually selected components for everyday office/productivity use rather than gaming or heavy workloads.
Skip the directories. Book direct for transparent pricing with Xigox. Battery swelling on your Custom is a safety hazard, not just a repair issue in Dadar West. Xigox handles Custom Office PC Computer CMOS Battery Replacement safely and completely: removing the original pack without damaging the chassis, installing a BIS-certified replacement, and confirming full charge capacity. Typical Custom Office PC Computer CMOS Battery Replacement jobs in Dadar West take 60–90 minutes.
Longevity matters for this issue. Because of this, our team strictly use OEM-grade parts for your Custom. Instead of grey-market components, we use trusted supply chains. This guarantees your issue will last, supported by our standard 90-day warranty.
The biggest frustration about repair shops in Dadar West is surprise bills after the job is done. We've built our entire model around transparency. Prior to touching your Custom, our technician shares a written quote that covers everything. You see the exact cost — approve it or decline, no pressure. Our ₹350 inspection fee is fully refunded when you proceed with the repair.
Many Dadar West customers wonder whether an extended warranty applies to this issue. Xigox supports insurance claims and can provide the itemised bill your insurer needs — including parts cost, labour cost, and fault description. For out-of-warranty Custom units, third-party issue is typically usually cheaper compared to the official service centre.
