Who repairs your device
Your Custom Workstation is handled by Xigox technicians from start to finish. It is never handed on to another shop. Work that needs the repair bench is done at our workshop in Virar West.
Board-level faults are traced with a microscope, a multimeter and a soldering station before any part is replaced, and parts are fitted only after you approve the quote.
We don't open your personal files during a repair. When a job needs access to your data, such as data recovery or a Windows reinstall, we ask you first.

10 questions answered
Send us your question on WhatsApp or call — a technician will answer.
Most Grant Road repair shops handle Custom the same way they handle every other make. We do not. Our Custom technicians are trained specifically on Custom Workstation architecture — schematics, boardview files and firmware behaviour — which is why our first-time fix rate on Custom work is so much higher than a general shop's.
Parts for Custom Workstation models are held in stock rather than ordered after you book, so most repairs are not waiting on a supplier. Screens, batteries, keyboards, charging boards and flex cables are all OEM-grade. You approve a written estimate first, and the ₹350 inspection is credited back against the repair.
We actively serve the entire 400007 postal area within Mumbai City district, ensuring same-day response for every repair request. ₹350 inspection fee (refunded if you proceed with repair). Located near Grant Road Station, our service coverage extends across Grant Road and all surrounding localities. In addition to Grant Road, we also provide doorstep repairs and free pickup for lab work for customers in Opera House, Nana Chowk, Cumballa Hill and other nearby areas.
Straightforward Custom jobs — battery, keyboard, screen, SSD or RAM — are done at your address in Grant Road. Anything needing the microscope and hot-air station comes back to the lab, with free pickup and drop either way. We confirm within 15 minutes of booking and tell you honestly whether it is a same-day fix.
We back Custom work with a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty in writing, not just a verbal promise. If your Custom Workstation does come back with the same fault, we cover it. You keep a direct WhatsApp line to the team that did the work.

How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
For a full replacement job, we fully disassemble the cooling path, clean out accumulated dust from the fan blades and heatsink fins (the single biggest real cause of creeping temperatures), remove the old dried-out thermal paste completely from both the CPU/GPU die and the heatsink contact plate, and apply fresh paste before reassembly.
Dried-out factory thermal paste is one of the most common causes of creeping temperatures on a laptop that is otherwise healthy — we always clean off the old compound fully before applying fresh paste, rather than layering over it.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
The model
A Custom Workstation is a desktop built from individually selected professional-grade components for engineering, creative, or data workloads, rather than a certified pre-built workstation.
Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. A high-TDP Custom in Grant Road generates significantly more heat under sustained load. Xigox matches the compound and cleaning approach to your workload: high-viscosity paste for sustained high-TDP applications, fan curve verification after the service to confirm your Custom holds 70–75°C under full load.
There are many repair shops in Grant Road, however, Xigox stands out for this repair. We believe in 100% upfront pricing. Each repair begins with a thorough diagnostic inspection for ₹350, which is fully refunded if you proceed. No surprise fees — only expert repair in Grant Road.
One of the most common complaints about repair shops in Grant Road is hidden charges after the job is done. Xigox operates differently. Before any work begins, our technician shares a written quote covering parts and labour. There is zero ambiguity — the decision is entirely yours.
