FAQ
Everything you need to know before booking your repair
10 questions answered
Send us your question on WhatsApp or call — a technician will answer.
Most Uttan repair shops handle HP the same way they handle every other make. We do not. Our HP technicians are trained specifically on HP Smart Tank 515 architecture — schematics, boardview files and firmware behaviour — which is why our first-time fix rate on HP work is so much higher than a general shop's.
Every HP component we fit is OEM-grade and batch-tested before it goes into your HP Smart Tank 515 — no aftermarket substitutes, no recycled pulls sold as new. You see the part cost and the labour cost separately on the estimate before we start, and the ₹350 inspection comes off the bill if you go ahead.
We actively serve the entire 401106 postal area within Thane district, ensuring same-day response for every repair request. ₹350 inspection fee (refunded if you proceed with repair). Located near Uttan Fishing Village, our service coverage extends across Uttan and all surrounding localities. In addition to Uttan, we also provide doorstep repairs and free pickup for lab work for customers in Bhuigaon, Vasai Fort, Bhayandar West and other nearby areas.
Straightforward HP jobs — battery, keyboard, screen, SSD or RAM — are done at your address in Uttan. Anything needing the microscope and hot-air station comes back to the lab, with free pickup and drop either way. We confirm within 15 minutes of booking and tell you honestly whether it is a same-day fix.
We back HP work with a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty in writing, not just a verbal promise. If your HP Smart Tank 515 does come back with the same fault, we cover it. You keep a direct WhatsApp line to the team that did the work.

How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When this needs a genuine repair rather than a reset, we isolate whether the fault is the printer, the connection (USB/WiFi), or the computer's driver/queue first — each has a different fix — by testing the printer directly against a different device before concluding where the fault actually sits.
Typical time: 20–40 minutes
The model
The HP Smart Tank 515 is part of HP's Smart Tank line — HP's refillable-ink-tank printer family, HP's direct answer to Epson's EcoTank, aimed at high-volume home/office printing at a very low cost-per-page.
Why waste time on aggregators? Get direct service without middleman markup with Xigox. Printer repair requires different diagnostic skills — diagnosing whether it's a drum, cartridge, or mechanical fault requires specific training. Xigox's printer technicians are specialists in inkjet and laser technology: inkjet head servicing, laser component overhaul. Most HP Smart Tank 515 Printer Laser Repair jobs are completed same-day.

A common question is whether an extended warranty applies to the repair. Fixing the immediate problem is only half the job at Xigox. Before your HP is returned in Uttan, it must pass a rigorous full-system quality check. Our team ensures that the issue was 100% successful, checking port functionality. This level of testing is the reason for our 4.9★ rating across Uttan.
The repair issues are surprisingly common and disruptive. Xigox handles all major printer brands: paper feed jams and roller wear, laser toner sensor failures.
