Common indicators of Water Damage on a MacBook. Recognise 2 or more? It needs professional attention — ignoring it risks secondary damage.
MacBook exposed to water, rain or beverage spill
Fails to power on after liquid exposure
Screen shows watermarks, fogging or discolouration
Speaker or microphone muffled / silent post-exposure
Charging or connectivity issues after liquid contact
Visible corrosion on ports or internal components
Apple Diagnostics and full board voltage-rail read
Thermal imaging of the heat pipe and fan assembly
Corrosion inspection under the keyboard membrane
Battery cycle count and health via system report
Don't Wait — Water Damage Worsens Over Time
Unresolved Water Damage on a MacBook can cause cascading hardware failures that significantly increase the final repair cost.
Identifying the root cause allows our engineers to deliver a precise, long-lasting repair — not a temporary patch that fails again within weeks.
Thermal paste degradation on tightly packed M-series and Intel boards
Blocked rear-vent airflow under the hinge
Liquid ingress through the keyboard into the logic board
Swollen battery pressing on the trackpad and top case
Accidental drops, pressure or impact causing mechanical damage to internal components.
Water, beverages or humidity causing short circuits or corrosion on the Laptop circuit board.
Components degrade naturally with regular use — batteries, connectors and hinges are most affected.
Factory faults that surface after the warranty period in certain Laptop production batches.
MacBook Water Damage in Girgaon can stem from multiple simultaneous causes. Without a thorough inspection, a repair technician risks addressing only the visible symptom while leaving the underlying issue intact. Xigox technicians perform a full 12-point hardware and software inspection before recommending any repair — ensuring the exact root cause is fixed, not masked.

MacBook specifics
MacBooks are sealed, glued and board-integrated, so almost nothing is a plug-in swap. Repairs are component-level work on the logic board, not module replacement.
Because storage is soldered on T2 and Apple Silicon boards, we take a full image before any board work so nothing is lost if the SSD controller is affected.
We use OEM-grade and original-pull Apple components, and we tell you which one your quote covers before any work starts. Board-level repair keeps costs well below Apple's whole-unit replacement price.

Tired of middlemen? Work with the actual repair team — Xigox. Liquid ingress on Apple MacBook is far more complex than on standard laptops — Apple's board layout routes liquid directly to SMC and T2 pathways. Xigox's Apple team uses microscope-aided board cleaning: board traces, connector pins, and USB-C charging components all inspected — then runs full Apple Diagnostics to confirm recovery. When it's MacBook Water Damage you need in Girgaon, Xigox applies this same standard: a written quote before any work begins, genuine-grade parts, and a 90-day warranty covering the finished MacBook Water Damage — parts and labour both.
One of the most common complaints about repair shops in Girgaon is hidden charges after the job is done. Xigox operates differently. Prior to touching your MacBook, our technician shares a written quote covering parts and labour. There is zero ambiguity — the decision is entirely yours. The ₹350 diagnostic is credited 100% when you approve the repair.
Xigox isn't just for individuals Girgaon rely on our issue to maintain productivity. Our corporate solutions include AMC agreements, priority SLA turnaround, and dedicated account managers. Whether you have 5 laptops or 500, Xigox handles this issue for your Girgaon office with corporate billing and detailed repair documentation.
Your personal data is our top priority during your repair. Customers throughout Girgaon trust us because we never access personal files. Throughout the repair, your confidential files remain untouched. If a software reset is necessary, we consult you beforehand.
Can't wait 48 hours? Xigox offers rush this issue in Girgaon for urgent situations. From an important client meeting and your MacBook just crashed, our emergency service ensures your MacBook is repaired within the same business day. Emergency this issue can be arranged including weekends in Girgaon. Just say 'priority' when calling and our team will fast-track your issue immediately.
A common question is whether an extended warranty applies to the repair. Xigox supports insurance claims and can provide the itemised bill your insurer needs — including parts cost, labour cost, and fault description. When manufacturer warranty has expired, third-party repair is typically usually cheaper compared to the official service centre.
Fixing the immediate problem is only half the job at Xigox. Prior to delivery in Girgaon, it must pass a comprehensive 20-point quality check. Our team ensures that the issue was 100% successful, checking wi-fi connectivity. This level of testing is the reason for our 4.9★ rating across Girgaon.
Quality matters for the repair. Because of this, our team strictly use genuine parts for your MacBook. Instead of unbranded components, we use trusted supply chains. This guarantees your repair will last, supported by our standard 90-day warranty.
Your MacBook model never limits what we can fix. Xigox engineers are trained across all major brands: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini and Mac Studio. Different manufacturers have unique design choices we account for in every repair. This depth of brand knowledge reduces repair time and lowers the chance of secondary damage.
Numbers speak louder. Xigox maintains a 4.9-star rating from 9,727+ customer reviews from customers across Mumbai MMR. Common praise includes: accurate quotes, fast turnaround, and genuine parts. What Girgaon customers value most: "Excellent the repair, done same day with genuine parts." Become part of the growing community of satisfied Xigox customers in Girgaon.
