How We Calculate Your Laptop's Value
8 factors that determine your laptop's buyback price. Understanding these helps you get the best deal.
Working Condition
Cosmetic damage — a cracked screen, dented body or spill mark — is priced against the cost of fixing just that part, not against the laptop as a whole.
Brand & Model
Apple, Dell XPS, Lenovo ThinkPad fetch higher rates. Premium brands = higher resale value.
Processor & RAM
Intel i5/i7/i9, AMD Ryzen 5/7 and 8GB+ RAM command better prices.
Storage (SSD vs HDD)
SSD-equipped laptops get 20-30% higher rates than HDD-only models.
Screen Condition
No scratches or cracks = maximum price. Minor wear is acceptable.
Battery Health
Good battery health adds ₹500–₹2,000 to the buyback value.
Age & Purchase Year
Laptops under 3 years old fetch the best prices. Older ones still accepted.
Accessories
Original charger, box, and accessories add ₹200–₹1,000 to the price.
