How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When setting this up from scratch, we isolate whether the fault is the keyboard itself or the embedded controller on the motherboard first using a diagnostic key-matrix test, then replace only the keyboard assembly once that's confirmed, reusing your existing keycaps' layout so the replacement matches exactly.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
Why waste time on aggregators? Get direct service without middleman markup with Xigox. Water spillage is the #1 reason for keyboard failure on Acer laptops in Umela. Even a small splash causes corrosion under the keycaps. Our technicians remove and clean the keyboard membrane, replace individual switches or the full deck. Keyboard replacements in Umela take 2–4 hours.
Your repair doesn't end when the Acer is returned. The Xigox after-service team remains reachable 7 days a week, 9 AM–9 PM via WhatsApp or phone. Should any concern arise within 90 days of your repair, simply contact us and a technician is dispatched at no cost. This commitment is why residents in Umela return to Xigox.
